There Are No More Perfect Parents Than There Are On The Internet

To all those people who "never look at this blog" and think they are perfect . . .

I used to be a big AOL parenting message board poster. Let me tell you, there are no "better parents" in the world than the moms from the AOL message boards. These women would sit, banging away on their keybords, judging every wrong thing you ever did with your kid. All. Day. Long.

Later, I branched out to the real internet and found that those women existed all over the internet. I found out I was a terrible mama because I got sick of my kids and had to get out of the house and away from them. I was a terrible mama because I had sent my youngest son to daycare. (The horrors!) I was a terrible mama because I forgot to put sunscreen on my kids. (Hey, man, I'm dark skinned. I don't think of it, sometimes, sorry.)

I found out once that the most judgemental woman I have ever met online smoked. in her house. With her kids in it. When I found that out, I had a massive epiphany. It's really easy to fake being a good mom on the internet. I can sit here and tell you all day that my children have never had a bit of candy, that they only eat organic foods hand-picked from a farm in my backyard and you'd never know the difference. I can tell you I have never lost my patience with my kids even once. I've never yelled at them and I certainly have never spanked them.

But since I'm all about the honesty, I'll tell ya. According to internet standards, I'm a crappy mom. And I'm proud of it.

Good Morning,

I know I'm not a perfect Mum, I made mistakes but both my Boys' have grown into well balanced adults who have never broken the law, they both have good jobs, loving relationships and are kind, caring individuals who make me proud to be their Mum.

Have a good day all

Great article Sassy.

I would like to add one of the comments left on this article, which confirms my thoughts certainly:

The deepest-held pathologies are often borne by those least willing to admit the first imperfection. Their guise of effortless happiness is a thin veil trying to mask the worst elements of human behavior.

Just to show you that I am not perfect (in/at anything) gone back to murky past avatar. Enjoy!

Hi Helen/Jojam

It seems that I have overnight been accused of being a poor mother by that poor excuse for a woman Vile.

It seems that she has once again extrapolated from simple statements to sinister connotations and come up with her theory that I am a poor mother. So much for getting the facts, just make up what you dont know. Stupid woman, I wonder why any one at all ever converses with her on her blog. If she uses the same type of reasoning about the McCanns that she has used on me then I have no doubt at all how she finds them guilty of all sort of things. She has no deductive, logical reasoning powers, just the ability to jump to conclusions.

It seems that this article is timely indeed.

Hi Helen

Enjoying your Sunday morning.

I am cooking tea and just popped onto see if anything going on.

I agree with the article. If you check the Vile blog, you will see my post and the one that sparked it off. And can you believe it is on the same topic.

Good morning Diane/Jojam

Going to have a look at last nights post Diane. Was to be expected from TW as Sassy posted earlier. Confirms how she came by the nickname 'VILE'.

Jojam taken a gander at TWS whatever you posted has been deleted.

Helen

By the way, the stupid woman came here and took my post and then posted it on her blog, as she thought she was onto something.

Onto the road to insanity if you ask me.

So I had no choice but to go there to post. I feel dirty. I need a shower. Aargghhh.

dianeh said...

And for the record. I wont be losing any sleep over what Viv thinks Ive my parenting skills. In fact, since she is usually so far from the truth (usually outright wrong), I will take it as a compliment.

Diane,

Please don't give TW's comments a moments thought. What a sick twisted person he/she is. We have known for months now that he/she does not require anything other than the smallest titbit of information to put his/her vile slant on things. A truly wicked, sick mind.
Enjoy the rest of your evening with your lovely family.

Morning Diane,Helen ,Jojam and anyone else online
Back home, today, so should be easier to comment. Thanks for the Guardian/observer article, posted last night by China.
I think that the comment in Helen's post, said it all really, at 9 30.
I feel that many of the most perfect parents, among the antis, are deeply troubled and unhappy individuals and think that they have just latched onto this issue, for their own agendas. The more we beat others, the more we are distracted from looking at what is going on, in our own lives.
The attitudes of the parents are picked up, by the children, who are finely tuned to what is going on in the home.
I have one question.Which children or grandchildren, are most likely to give the McCann children [Sean and Amelie],a hard time at school ?
Is it the offspring of those, who watch, almost at the foot of the cross, in sorrow and compassion, or is it those from hate filled homes, with the parents spitting disgusting, untrue, unfair, immoderate and vicious comments, into a computer?
Is it those, who quietly support the family [the vast majority, in my view ], or is it those who fire off vicious letters to a grieving grandmother ?
This has, seemingly been removed, from Ar's website, but too late,as the damage is done.
There have always been know it alls, thick, peabrained, smallminded people, who usually are far from reticent, in criticising others.
I do not respect these people,or their opinions, but am concerned about the damage that they can do to these children and their family, with their vicious tongues.
When my children were at school, the primary teachers, used to absolutely and rightly, jump on any racism and I feel that the McCann children and their school, will need skilled help, to offset the damage done by the like of Vile's children, who will take their mother's attitudes,in a most destructive way.
This is sheer unadulterated child abuse, in my book and worse than someone, naively supposing their children might be safe, while they dined, 85 steps away.

Hi Diane

I replied to you on Supertrolls blog as I thought what a wonderful response to the c*** that woman spouts! Hopefully now her sycophantic followers can now see how she doctors information and takes things totally out of context!Although I won't hold my breath, as not only will I turn blue, but probably asphyxiate!!!

Something else that really got to me on her blog, while reading through it was the following:

Viv to Bianca
... I have also posted pictures of Kate and Gerry McCann several years ago, with shiny red noses.faces etc and a table full of alcohol. We know that on this holiday they drank extremely heavily whilst leaving their children completely alone, tiny children. If UK if this combination of behaviour had been brought to the attention of SSD there would be serious child protection concerns, particularly in context of Kate shouting late at night and the children becoming involved in such drunken disharmony....
Saturday, 5 April 2008 20:48:00 o'clock BST

It's my belief that that particular photo was taken several years ago prior to Kate and Gerry having children, so how could they have left tiny children alone - it's highly unlikey that they had any at that time!!! The look that Kate is sporting in the picture is classic late 1990s, she wore her hair like that in NZ, and I can categorically state she did not have any children while in NZ. Not only that it's obvious that this picture was taken of them at a function (a friends wedding) why shouldn't they have a few drinks? But for the record Kate at no time drank heavily daily while out here!

And as for the second part of this paragraph, why would the SSD be brought into this...a lot of people shout at each other at some time in their relationship, it's called arguing, I don't think I know anyone who hasn't at some time yelled at their spouse, partner, husband. God, if we contacted CYPs everytime someone yelled at their partner or their children, their track record would be even worse than it is now!

The first paragraph in my previous post makes it sound as though I'm talking about ST - oops, I'm not by 'that woman' I mean viv....sorry!!

It is apparent, to anyone with a brain in their head, that you are a fine person and mother.
Vile enjoys dishing supposed dirt and is desperate, knowing that the case is not going her way.
I noted Mark pulling her up, on one of the disgusting lies she told recently, when she suggested that Richard Branson, had discontinued support for the Mccanns.
In fact, Branson put in another £100,000, after they were made arguidos and helped start a fighting fund, towards their legal expenses.
Never one to let lack of facts get in the way of a story, she is increasingly hitting out, like a demented wasp, in a milk bottle.
She currently runs an article suggesting that 95% of children harmed, are by their families.
No significant revelations there, but what about the other 5 %?
How rare is it for a child to disappear, while on holiday, in these circumstances ?
Why half the world's press camped out there ? Exactly, we are talking about a very unusual event here, far from the norm.

Well said Melbell, your post of 0957.

Hi.
I thought that was a wicked and vicious remark and suggestion, made by this vile woman, who should be sued and be made to stand in court, for the daily libelous remarks made.
She, after all, is the blog boss, if you like, so who is censoring her ?
Free speech, my a...se!This is the babblings of a seriously disturbed psychopath, in my very considered opinion.
The Times Journalist, said that they drank moderate amounts and why should they not drink at a wedding, as they thought fit ?
If you classed every normal person, who had a barney, with the husband, as "problem families ",[Hey, Vile, we have not used that sort of politicially incorrect language, in official UK circles for years ], you would be driving round the streets, with thousands of double decker buses, to round people up.
Vile, you know nothing about Social Services, or Probation, unless it is as a client. Trust me.I know.

Thank you for your kind posts. Kiwi, I know I have already said that on ST's blog, but I really do mean it.

Kiwi and I are both mothers (getting on a bit, Im a bit further along than Kiwi though) with small children, who work full time and live full lives. I can only speak for myself but it wasnt until the McCanns got into strife that I got into this blogging thing. And if it wasnt for the libellous b*lls*t that was on the DX, I probably would never have blogged at all.

I dont have a lot of time, although have been on and off all day to day. I usually sneak on while working. Because you know I HAVE A LIFE and dont need to live a surrogate life by slagging off innocent people on the internet.

So here is to us mothers and grandmothers who love our children and grandchildren. Actually I have a step granddaughter who is coming up to 1 year old. We hope to raise and nuture our children to be caring people. My mum alwasy told me that if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. Now while I sort of subscribe to that theory, I will always break that rule when I am attacked unfairly, as I was today. Additionally, I dont think that people who intentionally try to make others lives a living hell deserve to be spoken to nicely.

Its a pity that Viv and her mates didnt have a loving caring mother like mine, to be brought up with values that include compassion and understanding. I teach my children the same lessons that I learnt from my mother. One day, they will also be kind compassionate people that other people are glad to call their friend.

It too have wondered on what side of the law Viv got her experience. She is a bit hard up for facts and logical thinking, so hard to believe she is a lawyer or probation office. Imagine the compassion she would give to her clients as a probation officer. Heaven help them.

Just one last thought, before I am surgically removed from the keyboard.
In a wakeful hour, in the early hours,I did a little breakdown of the posts on TWS.
Of 268 posts [bloated by the influx from grannybasher's website], the top 5 are as follows.
1 vile 35 posts
2leigh [monkey catcher ]43 posts
3 Hope 28 posts
4 Bianca 21 posts
5Zodiak14 posts
6 lgc12 posts
There were 20 others, mainly with less than 4 posts and 4 pros [not reflecting any deleted, because it did not reflect, what the blogboss wanted their post to do.
With any mass exodus, there will still be a few, with a lot to say.

We (my partner and I) enjoy a wine at night as well. We like good quality wine and drink quite regularly. We do not however, write ourselves off on a regular basis. In fact, I havent been drunk since I had my children. I am drinking a lovely Pinot Noir Chardonnay sparkling wine tonight. And it is very enjoyable.

If Kate and Gerry and their friends want to enjoy a good wine while on holidays, well then good on them. It is an exageration on the part of Viv and her fool friends that they think the McCanns and friends were all pissed that night. Once again, drawing conclusions, stating them as fact when all they have is a couple of spurios articles in the portugese press, that have been contradicted by other articles inthe portugese press.

And I really do get a laugh out of the Vile and friends ability to read so much into a single picture. Do they not realise how pathetic it makes them? Obviously not, as they are clearly being driven like lemmings over a cliff.

Mandz said...

Hi All,
Just had a bit of a chuckle at that article! There is no “perfect” parent we all do things differently and our children are all unique and different therefore what works for one parents does not necessarily mean that it will work for another.
People bring up children with their own values and beliefs and culture etc Most people will have a great great gran who sent her children out to work because it was the “done thing” culture society however was she a bad parent – NO it was acceptable in society –the done thing. The divide is even greater from Country to Country therefore who are we to tell them how to bring a child up and vice versa.

I remember people on the DX anti who went on and on about how dreadful it was to send your child to a kids club everyday etc however some children love these places and I assume it gave the parents a bit of time to charge their batteries etc I have never sent my children to a kids club not because I disagree with them but because I don’t holiday in complexes where this services is offered however I know of people who do. I would never dream of pointing the finger at another parent who chooses to send their children to a kids club. How would I know what is BEST for another family and their children??

Then out came the “perfect parents” who always started their post off with…. I would never dream of doing this and when my family go on holiday we eat sleep and play together bla bla bla etc well so bloody what does that make them any better than anyone else? When I holiday with my family we are together most of the time and I must admit it can be hard work with young children and draining at times. If there was a kids club I would use it because I know my kids would love this. They love their independence away from their parents in an environment where they can choose what they want to do and mum is not there telling them. It would also give them a chance to meet other children. I see this at the beech a lot with my kids who look out for other children to meet and play with.

The people who sit their bumping their gums and pointing their finger about what other parents from (all nationalities) should do should get a life and try and understand that we have our own values beliefs culture etc therefore there are bound to be differences.

dianeh said...

HI Mandz

When we go to the local club, my kids always go into the creche. They absolutely love it. Better than hanging around with Mum.

I used to work on an island resort and I can tell you that the kids club there was extremely popular and the kids loved it. they got to holiday with kids their own age, with activities to do all day, everyday and still get to have meals etc with their parents, of if they want, go to the beach, or on a boat trip etc etc, with their parents.

Kids deserve holidays as well, and a well run kids club gives them a feeling of independence on their holiday, instead of being with Mum and Dad every minute.

Those that criticise parents for using a kids club are just looking for something to criticise or else have not had the benefits of a kids club and therefore imagine that the kids dont enjoy it. Nothing better than having Mum and Dad and the kids all enjoying their holidays, so I say, bring on the kids club, let the kids have a holiday they really like.

larah said...

Hi Diane, much like yourself I never blogged like this until just very recently - who has the time, and much like you my time is limited to sneaking on at the weekend, usually when children are 'helping' their daddy in the garage, or in the evening. hence the reason I get to make two or three post and then I have to leave!

It's 9.45pm here now and with the end of daylight savings has come the end of our 'Indian Summer'. Hubby is off to bed, and I must admit to not being far off it myself, work in the morning!

However, I think the other thing that really galls me about viv's site is the way they go on and on about poor parenting and how Kate and Gerry were 'bad parents' because they left the kids at creche etc etc while on holiday. You might be on holiday but you still need some down time and some 'me' time.

With the number of perfect parents we have on viv's site I'm surprised they're not co-operating and writing a book on the subject! Hell, it would be a best seller in no time, and then there'd be no excuse for poor parenting - it'll be bye bye Dr Green, Diane Levy, Kaz Cooke etc etc and hello viv et al! God help us.

Although, ( it just occurred to me and eyes light up) that that could be her next career - Super Perfect Parent (SPP) and she could go into people's homes and tell them what they are doing wrong, and film it all so she could take it to Social Services if they didn't listen to her. My god, the offshoots of this coudl be huge, endorsing the perfect foods for children, the perfect clothing etc etc....it's limitless!

melbel said...

Morning Mandz
Well said. We and our children, are all unique and different folk and cultures, have very different ideas.
The clubs exist, because there is a demand for them and children enjoy the activities and contact with other people.
The poor wee soul, said to her mummy and daddy, that she had really enjoyed the day.
I would also support my local cardiologist or my local anyone, having the odd timeout, to recharge batteries and have a bit of time with adult friends.
Parents, who can never, ever, contemplate their children, being separated from them,to do their own activities, which they enjoy, have a severe problem themselves and it is often their own needs and not the child's needs, that are paramount, imho.

dianeh said...

Kiwi

Well said.

But you had better be careful, you are probably giving that demented lunatic her next career move.

larah said...

If we ever get the chance to get away on holiday when the prices are good - prices always go up over the school holidyas - then we'd go where they had a kids club. Friends of ours recently went to Fiji and their kids just loved the kids club.

Littlies don't want to hang with mum and dad all day and do boring things they want to run around and play with kids their own age, not be stuck doing grown up things all day every day. Parents need time out too and sometimes they need time out during the day to do their own thing and to be their own person again. Some might call it selfish, I call it reasonable and sensible.

I would like to repeat something I said earlier.

On Gerry the Heart surgeon. I have had some experience with a senior heart surgeon and the one I was lucky enough to get (for my 3 week old daughter) was recognised as probably the best in Aust in dealing with tiny babies. He was a very focused person and all business. How can anyone operate on a 3 week old baby and not feel anything, yet he came across as caring but totally in control. As I was handing over my baby and crying my eyes out, the nurse was also getting teary but the surgeon was terrific. He told me "I will look after her" and you know I believed him.

Apparently the intensity in this man is reflected in many other aspects of his life. He jogs daily and follows the Pritiken diet and has done for years. He starts work at 6 am for first surgery at 7 am and often works late into the night. The nurses in Paediatric Intensive Care had nothing but praise
for him, including that he was a devoted family man and found time for his family as well. They tell me that they would have no one but him operate on them for heart problems.

To be a heart surgeon you must be focused, determined, articulate, as well as incredibly intelligent. Gerry is all of these things and he applies these skills to his search for Madeleine as well as to his practice.

Yet Stupid Viv and her cronies dont seem to understand that and sees something sinister in the way he is. I bet if it was her or her baby being operated on, she would be glad that Gerry has these qualities. He is all that stands between life and death for many people.

I owe my girl's life to a heart surgeon like Gerry and I am sure there are many people in Britain who owe their own lives or the lives of a loved one to Gerry himself.

Now I must bid you good night.

melbel said...

Bye all.Off to pack now and see you later. Take care, you silent majority. When I think about it,apart from one or two exceptions [and they know who they are ,we are dealing with some very strange people,in the antis.]
What person,in their right mind, now that the forensic evidence and dog sniffing, have been shown to be totally inconclusive, would write for months, on a hate blog?
Vile was cornered into throwing her last card into the ring, last night,in saying that because the Portugese and UK Police, have put so much money and resources, into this, they must have a case and therefore the McCs are guilty.
Vile is quite unequivocal, with no wriggle room for thinking,in any way, that there could be doubt about the couple being involved in her disappearance and actually, has written on many occasions, that she thinks they killed her.
Oh deary, me, it should be an easy matter, for you to be sued, blogboss.
I am off now to pack and to buy my Sunday Observer and Sunday times,to read the article in SO,in more detail.
In my quick read of it, there seems to be no suggestion, of the Mccs being thought guilty, just handwringing from the PJ sources, re the questions and inconsistencies.
I have thought about it all ways,PJ and after all these months of delay at your end, you are simply going to have to get these questions asked and why has it taken you so long ?
I believe the majority of Portugese people, like everywhere, will be fairminded and decent[in spite of the efforts of most of those on grannybashers.]
I was struck by the comments of several Portugese posters,Lux being an example, talking about dark forces, in Portugal and a David and Goliath struggle. They seem to not trust their politicians, in a different way to the way we can get naffed off, about ours.
Just a thought.
Have a good day, folks and take care.Switching off now x x x

Hi DianeH! Melbel!

I agree it is great for the whole family everyone is on holiday including the parents. I’m sure people would not force their children to go. The “club” I’m sure would be similar to a nursery where if the child was distressed they would contact the parents to come and collect them. My children get bored hanging around with mum and dad all day they constantly look for other children to play with! It’s funny when I used to collect my child from nursery she would come out with “attitude” which was because she was making the decisions for herself and doing what she wanted to do and not me around telling her what she is to do etc!!

Melbel!
Yes that’s right the wee soul said she had the best day every. Oh gosh that breaks my heart.
Exactly everyone is on holiday and parents need time out! Children need their independence because they will go off to School and they will need these skills.

Diane, just a quick reply.I am glad it turned out well, for your child and what a thing to go through.!We should be so thankful for the focus and skills of these people. This is in no way being deferential, per se.
Gerry and Kate, apparently came from ordinary and not privileged homes and have spent their lives, looking after other people.
Gerry sounds like a very focused person to me, with support for him and Kate, from excellent friends and family.
I lived next door to a doctor once and asked him,why he never flapped.
he said that he would be no use to people if he did.
I know it is a degree different, when it is your own child and they will have had many times, when they have collapsed in a heap. They have had good friends and family, to pick them up though and have remained strong and dignified, throughout.x

Hiya

Just on troll patrol before going to Slovenia for the rest of the afternoon. Glad you liked the article! I posted it because of all the ridiculous comments by the people who are so theoretically perfect! Particularly hysterical from some people whose kids only give them "reluctant hugs" when they come out of hospital or people whose only responsibility is a cat.

To all of you who are bugged by comments on Vile's about your own parenting skills - look who is doing the criticising (that certainly puts it into perspective) and forget it!

Hiya all

Sassy - a very down to earth and balanced article. I know I am not a perfect mum, but I do my best....and guess what? Years ago I put my child in the Big T club whilst on holiday...and guess what again Each day after breakfast she would be constantly asking, "Is it time to go to the club yet?" She loved it.

The People appear to be very supportive and sympathetic to Kate and Gerry today.

What makes me laugh in all this, Kate and Gerry have never said they were perfect parents and although criticised for it, WE, have never said they were perfect parents either.

They are 2 parents, who's biggest crime imo was being too trusting. They have since been trying to do what they think is right in the search for their beautiful daughter, against all the obstacles may I add.

As Kate and Gerry once said, this is not about them, it is about Madeleine and they will take everything that is thrown at them and by god have they.

I have nothing but admiration for them.

I have replied to you on Supertroll's too.

Viv is so eaten up with rage and jealousy, I cannot imagine how normal people that post regularly on viv's vile site do not see it, but then I think that there are relatively few normal people who do post on that site. I tried the other day to start at least to bring an end to these blog wars, but that was a complete waste of time, I will not be trying again.

Diane, anyone can see that you are a good, kind caring person and an excellent parent, that comes across in your posts.

Nobody is a perfect parent and anyone that says they are is a liar, we all of us make mistakes. I know I have, I have made plenty and I am not afraid to admit it, I have never been one for smacking my children, but that is not to say that they haven't nearly driven me up the wall (and down the other side).

People that think they are perfect parents are a danger to society, because they usually also think their children can do no wrong too. These are the ones that usually end up so damaged that they have a hell of a life of their own, you see them on street corners, mummy's little soldiers who can do no wrong, yet there they are intimidating elderly people, attacking people and filming it, these are the ones that usually get ASBOS slapped on them for all kinds of anti social behaviour, while their perfect parents are at home, not knowing where their perfect children are.

Strange thing is a lot of these people own parrots!

Hope kept alive by not forgetting. At six months missing, a mass in Madeleine’s honor was said in the Portuguese church where the McCanns had looked for solace months before.
Home in England, the couple went to church to mark the sad occasion.
At Christmas, the child not at the hearth was the subject of a McCann family appeal.

Clint Van Zandt: What they don't want to do is say we don't know where to look. Anybody else got any ideas? They have they have to solve this and some would say they have to pin this on somebody.
On October second, the chief detective of the Madeleine McCann search was removed from the investigation and reassigned to another district. He had reportedly been the driving force behind the case against the McCanns.
The Portuguese investigation appeared to be back where it started-- with the new chief detective going back to the resort complex, re-interviewing old witnesses and searching again for lost clues.
Some would say it's been a total bust: from the botched crime-scene investigation, to the resources spent in pursuit of the helpful translator who lived a few blocks away, to the squeeze put on the McCanns themselves that fizzled when a Portuguese judge looked at the hundreds of hours of police work and mountains of documents and said, in effect, you have nothing.

Mandz

Hi - re that link, can't get it. The blog id is pretty much ours minus last 4 digits??

Thanks

Rosiepops said...

Hi Mandz,

The reason they have nothing is of course because there is nothing to be had, the McCann's are innocent.

The PJ have messed up big time, Tubby Gonc gambled big time and lost and instead of the new PJ Paulo Rebelo coming in and stopping this farcical accusations of the parents and these bizarre allegations and the absurd character assassinations of the McCann's, he just allowed it all to continue and it is a disgrace and looked extremely bad for Portugal.

archer said...

Hi Rosie/Mandz

Agreed, but they were looking for 'returns' on their financial investigative investments'. The only way they were going to get that IMO was by hauling Kate or Gerry in. Tubby's lunch expenses also had to be justified!!

Evidence - goodness me, what's that?

Mandz said...

Hi Archer!
Sorry about that!!

Here it is:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23436596/page/6

Rosiepops said...

Hi Tinks

Great post and spot on. The McCann's have been dignified and unwavering in their search for their daughter.

They have taken all the slurs and innuendos and bizarre stories leaked from PJ 'sources'. they have been effectively gagged by the PJ and Portugal's archaic secrecy laws, they have been unable to explain what has really happened, while the PJ and the Portuguese press has had a field day with this.

Dreadfully unfair and this looks really bad on Portugal.

The PJ are supposed to be here tomorrow, let's see if it happens.

But what good will these interviews be?

After nearly 8 months of the PJ bleating on and on about the McCann's not answering their questions.

1) The Portuguese judge has said there is no evidence to grant re interviewing them.

2) Sop the McCann's off to be re interviewed by the PJ when they are over and apparently the PJ have declined!

Nice one PJ, part of the top five elite police in the world?

You jest of course?

Mandz said...

Hi Rose & Archer!

Rosie hope all is going well.

I agree with you both they have a big fat 0 and as for tubbies lunch expenses!!!

They should have got wise and released them immediately from this pathetic status and made a public apology however the fact that they have not is beyond comprehension. The have allowed the real CRIMINAL/Z TO GET OFF SCOT FREE – UNFORGIVABLE UNBELIEVABLE AND SICK***

archer said...

Mandz

This whole debacle has been about what 'should have been'.

Something tells me the pj don't do 'apologies', so I for one won't be holding my breath.

It is no consolation whatsoever to Kate and Gerry, but Portugal has to live with this shame.

Mandz said...

Well Archer they can shove their Tourist Industry..!

Rosiepops said...

"In February, the Portuguese authorities quietly amended their theory of the case, admitting the police had been "hasty" in making the McCanns that word--"arguidos," suspects.

It's back to abduction by person or persons unknown."

What are the PJ doing today?

1) preparing to come to the UK for some useless futile visit?

2) Actually looking for Madeleine, by hunting down some of the leads they have toally ignored?

3) Nothing?

Time for the PJ to turn over the files of this case to the British police and let them take over.

Mandz said...

Yes Rosie HAND OVER THE CASE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL AND WILL INVESTIGATE THIS MISSING CHILD.

A complete WASTE OF TIME spent on what was it??? A gut feeling?? their wives ?? Come ON....

What did they say about Diane?

Tinkerbell43 said...

Well we are now hours away from the PJ leaving to come to the UK, its times for Arsabliar to stop hanging on to their legs and kissing their feet!

Come on PJ, you may be 11 months too late but we are ready and waiting for your final instalment. Lets see what you've got!

Mandz said...

Wish they were flying into an airport near me I would take some eggs.........

Diane,

I see your parenting skills have been questioned by the evil one. Evil being a very apt anagram of TW.

She who is divorced from all reality and has to google her professions. How sad is that!

The woman is absolutely clueless, and if any of her posters had any balls they would be the first to say it. Children do these type of things and anyone that says they dont is a blatant liar.

The woman is just taking cheap pot shots and trying to make something out of nothing which is par for the course with her.

I hope you had a good laugh, lol.

The Candy Floss blog really sucks said...

Hiya

It's because of the pot shots taken at people here by the vile one and her cronies that I posted today's article - I'm glad it went down well.

Like Helen I find the part:

"The deepest-held pathologies are often borne by those least willing to admit the first imperfection. Their guise of effortless happiness is a thin veil trying to mask the worst elements of human behavior."

exceedingly fitting!

Mum21 said...

Good evening Everyone.
I have not been on here for a couple of days....had hubby home. te he he.

I notice the 3A's have no time for 2345....and gave her a hard time over her comments regarding the Government. Pity Viv does not see through her too.

Talking of Viv....and her comment over Diana's parenting skills. To be perfectly honest Viv really does not have a clue. She has shown herself up time and time again....and anyone with the slightest bit of sense can see that for themselves. Her attack on Diane were the words of a jealous, lonely, bitter and twisted woman.
As for Viv's career...Every little tit bit of advice she gives regarding the law you can find word perfect online. But I have to hand it to her, she excels at one thing...COPY & PASTE.

I am a great animal lover and my home and garden is a wildlife sanctuary. It is home to Wild ducks, Moorhens, plus my own collection of water birds. They roam free in my large garden and have the use of two very large wildlife ponds. They are not caged in...and neither are they penned in. Birds are born with wings to fly...and flying is their natural means of moving around. To cage them up is cruel. It is like giving them a lifetime of imprisonment. Anyone who wishes to keep birds as pets should provide them with a large aviary that has an outdoor and indoor flight. The outdoor flight should be planted with small trees to allow the birds to fly freely. I have a friend who adores parrots...and has five of them. All five are housed in a very large aviary with an outdoor flight.
I may not be an expert at law...and neither do I profess to be a probation officer. But I AM an EXPERT on animals and wildlife....and to keep a parrot in a cage is CRUEL. And that is a true fact.

The Candy Floss blog really sucks said...

Hiya Mum21

I completely agree about keeping birds caged up. Not natural - just cruel. I love animals and would never have a caged bird as I just don't believe that they can be happy like that. Don't agree at all with the American system of "crates" for dogs either. Plain selfishness. People have dogs, don't have enough time for them (don't think about that first of course) then the dog gets bored and therefore destructive. The answer to this problem in the US? Stick your dog in a cage for 8 hours till you get home!!! How cruel is that - complete selfishness.

Also agree with the way Vile comes over - bitter and twisted. To say her bleugh is dedicated to the protection of children is just an insult.

Mum21 said...

I see according to Sky News the PJ are expected to arrive around lunch time tomorrow. I hope they know you do not get extended lunch breaks over here.
I also see on Sky news that the McCann's friends are being interviewed as witnesses only....and no lawyers will be required. Neither are any items due to be confiscated.
Bit different to what they have been claiming on Viv's blog. As per usual...they got it wrong.

By the way...the avatar is one of my ducks. It is a Fulvous Tree Duck and I call her Judy.

Mum21 said...

Hi Sass,
Hope you are well.

I know what you mean about dogs in the US. My two labradors rule this house...not the other way around. te he he.
I love all animals....the same as you do.

Mum21 said...

Sass. In my book how a person treats an animal is how they treat a child.
I feel very sorry for Viv's children.

The Candy Floss blog really sucks said...

Mum21

I'm fine thanks. It sounds like a great garden you have there.

Dad always says that having a animal around makes a place more human! As you say the way you treat animals says one awful lot about your character.

At the dogs' home there is a woman I didn't get along with at all. She was always making snidey comments about me.

However, after having seen the way she dealt with a totally traumatised dog I thought she can't be that bad a person after all. She was brilliant with him - running around (and she's not the youngest) and playing with him and stroking him (he's never had any of that before and he completely trusts her, so she's done really well with him). She calls him "my little scaredy cat".

I think it worked both ways because she has stopped the stupid comments and we get on quite well now.

My opinion of her changed completely when I saw that. Anyone who is nice to animals gets my vote!

I am just trying to fit in an extra half hour of work this morning but have to stop in a minute to get the kids dressed to take to Nanas. But that is probably neglect as well, since I have to work, so Nana looks after them.

Just to let you know as well. I dont care what that fool says about my parenting skills, after all who listens to a fool. My beef is that she has taken an innocent story (not addressed to her either) and drawn a conclusion that is not even close to the truth because she cant possible know the truth about my home and situation. This is exactly what she has done with the McCanns. There is no other way to say, she just makes it all up.

Fifty-five year old Antonio J.R. - who is working for Metodo 3 on the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann - was working in the post of Chief Inspector of the Drug and Organised Crime Unit in Barcelona when the crime occurred. He had left the police going to work directly for the Metodo 3 agency at the same time as the internal services had begun to investigate the disappearance of 400kg of cocaine out of a total of one and a half tons and which had been found on a boat from Venezuela.

CHRIS thank you FOR relieving me of the task. I do have to clean personally my 9 loos and 4 en suites you see and after that have to taxi daughter in sleeveless outfits in the snow miles away as we are not near bus, train, tube or anything really, Ducks, yes.

am seriouly thinking our pipes miht freeze overnight so am leaving heating on as our water was beaving oddly today. Shower didn't come on properly for ages and ages spurting and blasting....odd. cough, splutter, and heating too od. led radiators as if I know what to do. huh. No I don't but thought I would as air locks came to mind. What do I know though,,,,,nuffink. sadly. I just do not want burst pipes. Oh dear.

Daughter thinks she's going 'camping' tomorrow. which is worse than today by forecast. so no way I feel. we shall see. It is madness. Or, as Clari-ficaton would say, ludicrous. There's a word I will not use in future. At all. Hate it now.

I don't remember being as 'mad' as her when her age? I simply wasn't allowed to be. I don't get it..

but....hey

Am I bovverred?

yes.

she's freaking mental intshe eh? bovverred? moi?

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkk!

Goodnight to you too.

Jane I am off as well, Got work tomorrow, though fortunately am doing flexi-time for the next two weeks.

Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Don't expect we will hear much though.

Goodnight dear people. x

NO LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO...

JUST had to go and look outside, but no, no snow....yet.

I did hear once that if you are worried you keep your heating and water on low all night to avoid burst pipes so that's what I have done. Who knows. I certainly don't.

It does not look good for tomorrow though so better prepared than not.

Jane

Lock her in the house - for her own sanity!!

Bleed the radiators, do you know how to do that? Am expert at that fort of stuff...

Night night.x

viv, oh, viv! Just went to visit your web and I see your kids are sliding down slopes onto a highway. I think that could be child endangerment as it could be very dangerous.

calcite51 said...

Oh, Lord, please save us from the perfect parents who spend most of their waking hours on the internet preaching to us lesser mortals (one wonders how they can communicate with their children and raise such perfect children when they are on the computer 24/7)preaching the Joy of being perfect parents.

Oh, Lord, save us from parents who wants their children to believe that they are princes and princesses and therefore, must eat their vegetables, because after all princesses and princes eat their vegetables. I suppose the world will quickly teach these children they are NOT princesses or princes.

Moral decay is destroying the fabric of our families. Too little attention paid to children, too little discipline and too many toys, expensive computer games, etc..

Oh, lord, if you have time teach some of the perfect parents a few lessons in humulity and compassion.

And, oh, Lord for the perfect parents, make them realise that there are times you can't reason with a one year old or a two year old. An occasional tap on the hand or the behind when they are wearing a padded diaper does not constitute child abuse.

calcite51 said...

Viv, IF your children are twenty-eight then they are acting very silly.

calcite51 said...

Very mature children you have Viv - they must take after you (certainly nothing to be proud of).

dianeh said...

Calcite

Now look what you have done. Viv has posted on our blog as herself.

You must have hit a nerve and here I was thinking you were making a joke. Stupid me.

dianeh said...

Calcite

I loved the prayer.

And we should add.

Lord let those perfect parents of the internet know the error of their ways by allowing them to read and understand today's featured post.

And

Lord let compassion into their hearts and minds, in the belief that what goes around comes around. For those that give out kindnes, kindness will be returned in full.

And for those that have only vitriol and abuse for innocent people,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vile

Check your own site for "disgusting crap" before you come here and accuse us of writing it.

If you write the foul, insulting comments you do about our posters then you can expect them to hit back.

You take comments from our site, take them completely out of context and bitch about them for hours on end.

You should spend more time cleaning the muck on the wall behind that poor sod of a parrot's cage and less time bitching. How anyone can live in that filth is beyond me.

Diane - what can I say? I tried posting on her site when she and Delores were going on and on about your innocent and cute story about your son. She kept deleting my comments, so I came here and wrote my comment. I must have touched a nerve because she followed me in here and posted her comment.

I'm sorry, I didn't know her children were 28 and 34 years old - maybe as children she didn't let do anything and now they are acting like children. Who knows? It's the superior attitude that gets me - drives me crazy (but I gathered you know that already).

I have to go to bed now - it's 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. comes awfully quickly.

Hiya Calcite

Vile should get her own filthy house (literally) in order before she comes on here complaining about comments made about her.

She has no reason to feel superior - desperate yes - superior, certainly not!

Have a good sleep Calcite!
