Has Viv now totally lost the plot?
Captured last night on Viv's blog by pure luck. Knowing it wouldn't last we took a screenshot, the post did not last long, it was later edited and had all its content removed and finally removed this morning. We have decided to keep the identity of the poster secret.
It looks like some of the posters are not happy with the way things are being run on the blog, we have suspected this for a while, received the odd email and anonymous post, however voicing protests in this way had not been seen before. This post, even though it didn't last long, was a breath of fresh air.
Unlike Viv, we publish all comments, all theories, as long as they are not libellous, even those from Viv herself.

I feel I must make this post to be fair to Viv. If you ignore her posts regards the case and read some of her other comments re general everyday matters and wildlife etc. then a completely different picture of her is painted. It is such a pity this side is not shown more often.

None of Viv's posters have ever got "regularly pissed". As far as I have observed, one of them had around 2 nights/365 nights where he/she had imbibed a bit too much and felt that he/she needed to confide in people because he/she was very upset and vulnerable, allbeit, online. That is not regular by anybody's standards and equates to: 0.54 % of a year! Knock yourselves out!

Right, just for the record, acording to eye witness statements, and NOT the press leaks. Kate did NOT leave the twins alone to run down to the bar. She CALLED FROM THE BALCONY across to the resturant, a distance of just over 50 yards directly, easily within earshot. Also, eye witness reports, as in the files, states her words were NOT "They've taken Madeleine," but "Madeleine's gone, SOMEONE'S taken her."
As for Leonor Cipriano, anyone who has faith in a justice system that does not require eveidence to be produced in court, unlike here in Britain, but instead allows only a forced confession, with clear and positive indications of abuse, is living in La La land. And just to be more clear, the prison govenor has given testimony that Leonor recieved the severe brusing and facial swelling BEFORE she arrived at the prison.

I can touch type, and when I type, think in words not letters. In other words, I dont spell out letters in my mind, I just type the words out. So I often type wrong words, but generally they start and end with the right letters, so my mind doesnt realise they are wrong.

This is my opinion, not that I expect many of you to agree with it.
This thread has been a golden opportunity for posters from both sides to give their points of view and I give my thanks for that. I have had plenty to say and I also have taken note of other posters opinions. I conclude, for what it is worth, that people are now so set in their beliefs as to what happened nothing far short of a conviction (abductor/McCanns) will ever change their minds.
Both sides have made some very valid points, but I cannot see what use it is keep repeating and repeating them. It is apparent that nobody knows anything that could help the police with their enquiry, and even if they monitored blogs previously in the hope that someone who really did knows something was posting, they certainly are not bothering to do that now.
It is obvious this case is unique. Never before have so many people got so passionate, frustrated and obsessed about a missing child. Some posters, without realising it, are allowing it to drive them to a point of a mental breakdown. What good is this doing to themselves or others? What good do people think they are doing by encouraging these OTT comments? No good whatsoever is the answer.
We do not know if the police are investigation the McCanns, looking for an abductor, or have shelved the case. We do not know if the fund is being used to search for Madeleine or not. However, I have to say this, if the Mccanns are innocent then ofcourse the search is still on for their child and this time they are doing what they should have done in the first place, use properly trained people.
I am not for one minute suggesting that posters stop posting but is there really any need to keep going on and on with the same boring comments. Is there any need to be so downright abusive towards each other. For heavens sake, give yourselves a break and talk about your pets, the weather or something for a while. I know I am the worst offender at taking the p.ss out of people who I disagree with but I have never seen the need to make unfounded comments about them, or make accusations about their family. We all wind each other up, we all criticise each others comments, nothing wrong with that, but for heavens sake rein in a bit.
I know I am wasting my time saying all this, because I know this is going to continue, too many people have been personally insulted too often to wipe the slate clean and get back to sensible opposing debate.

no actually viv - there are variations between dialect in North Liverpool and the South end. Someone who had lived in both the south and the north would be quuite well placed to comment on these I would have thought... i.e me.
for example the further out of the South and the City centre you travel north and north east the more the dialect begins to take on the tones of what is charmingly referred to here as a woollyback.

I am a long standing member of the 3As and am furious that because of you lot Viv is bringing the forum down to her mentality. I am sick of seeing posts from members of this blog copied on to the 3As.
Viv rarely posted on the 3A's before but suddenly she seems hell bent on making it a place to get back at you lot.
My reason for being here is to ask if there is anyway you can stop her. We have tried complaining to Bren but she appears to be too busy to sort it out and says she will deal with it eventually.
We may not share the same views on this case, but your help would be much appreciated.

Viv just comes here takes a little of a post and quotes it completely out of context, making it look like it says something it was never meant to.
This is what Viv does, she causes huge problems, where ever she goes.
She enters a previously smooth running forum causing trouble, arguing and backbiting, she is at her happiest where people are arguing among themselves, she did exactly the same on the DX.

I rarely read the 3A's and have never posted on it. If it had not been brought to my attention I would not have even realised that Viv posted there under one of her many ID's.
I agree with what Rosie has said to you and would like to add that although I do not share all the views of the pros they have been fair and given Viv and her posters ever opportunity to air their differences ON HERE. Viv has chosen to take them over to the 3A's and I believe there are two reasons for it.
1. She has lost many of her posters to the 3A's, her posters are now very few and she needs to have a larger audience.
2. She is running out of things to say about posters she clearly hates and is looking for more support and ideas.
I think the ball is firmly in the court of the 3A's to deal with it as they see fit. Viv usually deals with things like this by banning the poster from her site. Another alternative ofcourse is just to ignore her when she posts things that you consider is bringing your forum down.
I can understand that you are furious about this, but IMO you should be blaming Viv not this blog.
The only one who is coming across badly here is you.

It makes you wonder why she craves all of this attention Rosie. Has something so horrible happened to her in her life that has turned her so bitter? If so then I pity her.I honestly can't understand her and I don't think my mind is deep enough to delve into what drives her along. I had posted threads about things outside the Madeleine McCann case and what goes on with the blogs. Mainly about photography and other things which interest me.
After the attacks by Viv I felt that whatever I posted on that blog there would always be the threat of Viv and a couple of others coming and attacking, something which would undermine the subjects I was posting about and put off anyone new to the blog. Therefore I pulled the articles and posted the pictures on another network.
It is a shame but it is the price I have had to pay for the old blog and making enemies like Viv (it was worth it though...).
It is not really a problem, new blogs can be started under different names if need be to stop people like Viv spewing their hate on threads about endangered species and global warming. However, at the moment I just don't have the time to start anything new, maybe in the future.

fail to realise and what you always have failed to realise is that we did not and do not bring attention to this because of some silly point scoring, we did/do it because we actually care about the safety of your children online. All we have ever done is ask you to remove the offending posts, this is not for our benefit, it is for your children's and your benefit!
People make mistakes, we all do, especially when you are in a bad place, but you are not now, if you are not proud of what you did, then please remove those details. This is not our responsibility, it is yours and you need to take control of the situation and do all that you can to rectify it, the posts are still there for 'anyone' to read, we do not tell people where they can be found and we have never provided links to them.

Although the pros and antis share different views regards the McCanns I truly believe the pros were genuinely trying to help you with regards to those posts you made. Maybe you felt that if you removed them you would be considered weak and being manipulated by the pros (who knows).

I am not that shocked TBH, I knew what this person was capable of and picked up on it almost immediately! When we realised what this person was really like, was after we were played by this person.
The first time she caused a lot of trouble and then just went off, a couple of us were actually worried about her, until we realised what she was up to!
Have you noticed the similarities between this person and Viv? Both have and extreme narcissistic personality and both blame everybody else for the trouble they cause others and themselves. Both are pathological liars and both do not give a damn who they hurt.
Both think they are above everyone else.
Both play the victim when they think they are in danger of being discovered.
I am not that surprised that she would team up with that person and do what she done to your blog because both of them are bitter and twisted.
Obviously they both have issues in their own lives that they have created, probably caused friction between family members and friends and then just pretend they have nothing to do with the problems they have actually caused and pretend to be the victim. I bet their lives have always been train wrecks!
People have probably just got sick of them and will not listen to them or their excuses and lies anymore and so they come online, where they enjoy anonymity and then they just create horrible nasty situations between previously happy people, then they join in for the bullying and character assassination, they revel in it.
These two people are so similar, that it is natural they would team up to try and destroy something, they are jealous of, be it a forum, a blog or an actual person! They are insanely jealous individuals, you saw what happened when one of them thought what they described as their ''well considered'' posts were unread and being ignored, while other people's were being read, people who they thought were beneath them! It does not occur to them that other people's writing, for all their faults is infinitely more interesting than their boring diatribes and tediously long boring cut and pastes.
Well suited, but if they did form a team it would not be long before they fell out, they would kill each other, trying to out do each other all the time, which is why they got so bad on your blog.

I agree completely with you both.
All I have ever wanted is for Dylan and her kids to be safe when Vile and Co were taking advantage of her. While she went on naming and naming them again to keep her beloved Vile happy, we never ever gave links to her posts, named her kids ourselves or gave any pointers to where those posts may be, we barely even name her.
We were then accused of dreadful things such as of trying to target and stalk her kids. I was accused quite a few times of being after them, can you believe this?
How does she think it feels for someone to be accused of being some kind of paedophile? And not only me, Rosie and Mum also got accused.
To be asked by her to shut up about it because 'we' could be putting her children at risk is a an insult.
I am happy to forget all the nasty accusations and stop talking about the subject, there is nothing that would please me more than to stop discussing it.
But it is up to the person who created this situation in the first place to take responsibility for her actions and put things right.

Apparently from what I have read from friends, neighbours, work colleagues and students of Gerry McCann, talking of him as they knew him before Madeleine was abducted, they all say he is a lovely, lovely man, bright, cheerful and helpful.
This comes from people that actually know him.

Rosie I would be a hypocrite if I denied that I have said in the past that when I watched Gerry Mccann on TV several times, I did not warm to him at all, I found his manner arrogant and unfortunately he had the kind of face that I wanted to slap. That comment was based on my opinion of what I saw and how I felt. As you say none of us know him at all and his friends obviously see him and know him for what he really is, whatever that may be.
We all tend to have friends who share similar views and act in similar ways and I am not so sure that his friends are the same sort of friends that I would choose either. But that is not the issue here, so it is better we do not start a thing about it. The main issue is it is totally wrong to pass judgement on people without any real evidence.

That is the point! You do not know him, I do not know him, Viv does not know him, so we cannot pass judgment on him, it is unfair. So ha has a face you want to slap, is that his fault or yours? He can't help the way his face looks but you can help your unreasonable response to it!
He may be one of these people that come across like that, he is a professional, used to taking charge of a situation, he would not be much good at his job if he did not do this.
With all due respect, we know very little about Gerry McCann, he has give very little of himself away. I am going by what other people say about him and not necessarily his friends, but students he has taught and his neighbours and acquaintances. They have actually met him and by default, the know more about him personally than you, I or any of us do.

1. Do you mean a book explaining how Gerry killed Madeleine in the apartment then several hours later carried her alive to hand her over to someone he had sold her too.
Actually I am against anybody writing books and making money out of this case, the only thing I want to read are facts coming from the police or people who were there.
2. Again, the A-Z would be very interesting to read so long as she can prove it. She hasn't even worked out who the mole was yet and the clues were there but Miss Marples was too busy spitting venom and banning the wrong people to notice.

I posted earlier an article confirming that the McCanns were also being investigated for kidnapping as well as homicide - they were looking at both scenarios. There really is a chance IMO that Maddie is still alive, but that certainly does not mean she is safe and well!

I was going to post this to you and ask you not to put it on the blog, but to hell with it, here goes.
Viv has more than one mole on her site and if she has just sussed one of them and banned that person she still has another one and she has not got a clue who it is.
How do I know? When I had several friends staying here a long time ago, one said to me I was heading for a ban on Viv's site unless I started sucking up to her. It was suggested that I sign up with her using another ID to be on the safe side. That is not my scene, so I didn't. What I didn't know at the time was, that my friend signed up with Viv and although he does not post very often and says very little, he was there through all the "closed" period and still is. So I have always known what is going on there and wait for this, I have even posted on there a couple of times, using his ID, since I was banned. Now I know Viv is going to use this as an accusation of trolling but that is not the case. The simple truth is neither my friend and I can abide control freaks and if we want to say something to one of the posters on her site she will not stop us, there is always a way. I spoke to one poster (nothing to do with the case) and she responded politely.
I called my friend yesterday to ask if he had been giving ST information and he said no, so as I said there are/were two moles.

It is a well known fact that overweight people as they get older are subject to heart attacks. The best exercise for an older overweight person is WALKING.
So instead of SITTING writing books...SITTING doing interviews....SITTING signing books...SITTING at long lunches....SITTING at a desk...SITTING in a car...SITTING in court....and just SITTING in general. Perhaps he should try taking a little more walking exercise.
I have only ever seen one picture of "The Lard" actually standing on his two feet...and even then he was leaning against a wall.

This is true, while I was in Spain last year for a while, we checked on our live traffic feed and most of the time it placed me over a hundred miles away from my actual location, and once, I was even placed quite a way into Africa!

I want to start by saying I am neither pro or anti (just a sh.t stirrer according to Claudia) So here are some s.stir facts. If you look at the top of this site you will see they have a forum dedicated to Madeleine where none of this mud slinging and back biting takes place. I am not a member so I am not privy to what they say on the members only secion. Viv thinks she can say what she likes about people, ban people without giving them a chance to defend themselves and there is no where else for anybody to respond. This thread started as a result of an unfair banning of JJ. The Pros on here do not even share JJ's views but they at least had the decency to allow him/her to explain. As a result of that Viv has gone on to accuse Rosie of actually being JJ (absolute cr.p) and it has gone on from there. So now you know, so sod off
