Because we had to remove this link from our forum, we put it here on our blog. For Joana Morais to go to all thius trouble of having us remove the link from our forum and deny you your right to free speech in a democracy, she must be pretty scared of the contents of this phone call and what it could mean for Goncalo Amaral, ex Portuguese cop, and now convicted criminal corrupt and a liar!

We still have not got the full transcript of the tape, but I have done a summary of it, I will also include the link for any Portuguese speakers, so they can listen for themselves. Please note that while all care has been taken to be accurate, this is a translation, please also refer to the actual tape recording, found on the following link.

The call starts off with the ring tone, this is Goncalo Amaral phoning the husband of a woman he had an affair with.Amaral threatens this man several times, there is also a lot of very sexually explicit language, this mainly comes from Goncalo Amaral, in this conversation he refers to "ears" in a sexually explicit way.

This is not the first time that Amaral has phoned this man or his wife, he has done so several times before, each time to threaten them and insult the lady (Ana).The conversation is very derogatory not only towards Mrs Ana Bras, but it is derogatory towards women in general, it really does show how much of a misogynist that Amaral is.

The whole phone call was made to try and goad and intimidate Ana's husband, don't forget this man (Ana's husband) is also the man that had an affair with Amaral's wife. Apparently, he had an affair with Amaral's wife deliberately to get back at Amaral for having an affair with his own wife. (Ana)
Apparently Ana, is a really beautiful woman and when she ended her ill judge and mistaken liaison with Amaral, he flipped and could not take it, he was eaten up with jealousy, so decided to take it out on her husband.Amaral's wife (Sofia) knew how infatuated Goncalo Amaral was with this young woman and she has allegedly both physically and verbally attacked Ana.

During the phone call, Amaral refers to Ana's husband as black and he makes some derogatory comments about him being black. Ana's husband then retorted, that black he may be, but that it did not seem to bother his (Amaral's) wife Sofia, apparently she liked this.

Also Amaral made a filthy untrue accusation about Ana, apparently sleeping around, but of course he was smited and rejected by this beautiful young woman, so Amaral would say that, probably out of spite because Ana dumped him, because she regretted becoming involved with him and wanted to try and get her marriage back on track.

Of course this is not verbatim and I have put it more pleasantly, but you get the picture now.

There is also mention of money, Ana and her husband own their own home and this is something that seems to bother Amaral.

Ana’s husband says to Goncalo Amaral

:Husband: I’ve my own house, and the house were you live is not yours but of your wife's, it is on your wife's name.

Amaral: The house is mine, it is on my wife's name, but it was bought with my money!

This is a very important affirmation from Goncalo Amaral, because it proves that for a long time now, it would appear that Amaral has been passing his money - money allegedly "obtained with criminal activity" (as with his book and film) - to other persons names! Amaral can then turn around and say to the courts and to the press, that he owns nothing, and because of this he cannot pay anything - not his debts and perhaps the compensations asked by Joana and Madeleine parents.

Although this is likely to affect Leonor Cipriano more that than the McCanns, because of course the Portuguese courts have already frozen Goncalo Amaral's assets.

This is a very important information that is recorded on this tape, hopefully it can be used Mr Mrs McCann, but is should all be the subject of a thorough police investigation.

Also this does land Joana Morais in a very sticky situation, it now appears that she is collecting money for Amaral's "defense fund", money Joana is taking off of old age pensioners, (who she has persuaded to donate their pensions), to place in a fund to pay for Goncalo Amaral's defense. yet no one is clear for which defense?

Amaral, already a convicted criminal, liar and perjurer, guilty of perverting the course of justice, is facing several court trials, all of them very serious, some which if he is found guilty will see him face prison of up to 12 years!

Amaral is now knowingly allowing this collection of this fund, when he has "allegedly" been stashing cash away in the names of other people, trying to preempt this court action.

Now Joana Morais knows this too, so why is she taking old aged pensioners money? This is a huge and dirty scam.

There was also Amaral doing a lot of talking and shrieking and shouting about horns and sheets, the sheet of course refers to the saying "making a bed now lie in it".The horns talk refers to "I will break you apart", (I will turn your horns up side down)

Amaral threatens by saying: "I will put you down by kicking you and without needing to use my hands".

Amaral also says: "I will shoot you on the middle of your eyes", etc, etc.

The last one (shooting Ana’s husband) is a death threat and is very serious, even more for a retired police officer who owns fire arms. This is why Ana and her husband have reported Goncalo Amaral and his "friends" to the PJ and the local police, (they have incident numbers and proof) and also why Ana and her husband has now written to the Portuguese attorney general twice, asking him for help and protection, these people are literally living in fear of their lives!

There was also a mention about an ear, I am sorry I cannot share this with you, but I will leave this to your imagination, it was something Amaral said when he was really getting irate and it is extremely explicit!

Over all Amaral loses it big time in the phone calls that I have listened to and Ana's husband stays quiet and calm under severe provocation.

What Amaral also says towards Ana is: "Eu faço-te a folha quando eu quiser", in English, "I sign your papers when I wish".

In Portugal, "fazer a folha" means to harm someone by illegal methods.

This phrase on tape may very well be used as proof that Goncalo Amaral's authenticity of the allegations towards Ana and her husband that Amaral has also threatened them, with planting drugs in their car, in order to send them to jail.

Apparently this is a good example of "fazer a folha" to someone.

Besides all that, there are lots of other verbal offences allegedly made by Goncalo Amaral, and these include very serious defamation against Ana concerning her sexual behaviour. As already said above, Ana admits to making a serious mistake and with her husband now, just want to be left alone to repair their relationship and save their marriage.

But Amaral doesn't do this, apparently he keeps phoning pestering and threatening them. Also Ana has explained she was first seduced by Amaral's sweet smooth talking and she states, this is exactly what he does on the TV and radio etc, she thought he was a man who had been wronged by the McCanns and the press, but as she got to know Amaral, she soon became aware of his very dangerous malevolent side to him, she came to know him as a liar and she knew the image he was portraying of himself on the TV and the radio etc was a totally false image, she became afraid of him, knew she had made a terrible mistake and got out of their relationship, which he apparently did not take kindly to and then all of this allegedly resulted.

While as already explained, that Amaral has made several serious defamation of character about Ana, (he can be heard in the bars and restaurants of Portimao and Praia da Rocha, where apparently he sits and drinks heavily nearly all day, every day when he has nothing else to do, this is where he defames Ana to anyone who will listen, he also allegedly talks about the Madeleine investigation.

However, we should remember that Amaral has made serious sexual allegations which were never proved against Leonor Cipriano and her brother and her partner, Leandro Silva (along with allegations of torture against Leandro Silva, which he (Amaral) is due to stand trial for very soon.

He has also done much the same against Kate and Gerry McCann, during and after his botched investigation of their abducted daughter Madeleine from Prai da Luz. That’s also a crime and has already reported to the Portuguese authorities.

There is some interesting "pillow talk" though and this is from Sofia Leal-Amaral!!!! It involves accusations about her (Sofia) allegedly saying that she only stays with Amaral for financial reasons and that perhaps we all wrote off the large sum of money which was allegedly paid to a GNR about the time of Madeleine's abduction a bit too hastily!

Oh yes, there is much more to come out about this man Goncalo Amaral and Ana made a wise choice as soon as she discovered what and who he really was, got away from him! Ana and her husband just want to be left alone now to work and repair their marriage and enjoy raising their daughter, without fear of something happening to the child and to them. They have been physically and mentally threatened and have to live in fear that Goncalo Amaral has allegedly told them that he could make something happen to them, without getting his hands dirty!

They have also been threatened that someone will plant drugs on them and they will go to prison.They most of all fear that something bad will happen to their daughter, that she will be abducted or something else and that it would be made to look like they had been responsible for it. (Ring any bells?)

People need to remember that this couple have had the strength and courage to report all of this to the PJ and the local police and to the Portuguese attorney general on several occasions and that they are literally living in fear of what Amaral may have done to them! The more people that know this, the less likely it is that anything will happen to them as it would be absolutely foolhardy to do this now, as we all know about the threats and intimidation and so do the Portuguese police and the Portuguese attorney general.And still some idiots like Morais, Bennett etc believe in Amaral? Makes you laugh really, here you have actual proof of what that man has been up to and they ignore all that and then prefer to believe a lot of make believe and unsubstantiated comments about the McCanns, mainly started and put about by the convicted criminal liar himself, Goncalo Amaral!

GONCALO: I thought we could hold two very large parties and tick off the neighbours, when we fight and brawl in the street and drive cars around the neighbourhood really fast.

GONCALO: They have, but that doesn't matter, I can get money.

SOFIA: How come? From where?

GONCALO: Don't bother yourself about it, just order the fireworks before they sell out of all the best most expensive ones.

SOFIA: OK darling, how many shall I order?

GONCALO: Oh around €3000/€4000 should do a nice little display.

SOFIA: Where shall we hold the parties?

GONCALO: Same place we held my birthday bash.

SOFIA: What about if we get "unwelcome guests"?

GONCALO: Don't worry about that, I will have them beaten up and tortured without dirtying my hands.

GONCALO: No of course not, but I have to pop in to see my friends and to speak in a very loud voice so everyone can overhear me, you know how I love to sound important.

GONCALO: What was that about a harp?

SOFIA: Oh nothing Gonky darling, anyway, I thought the nasty McCanns and judges have had all our bank accounts frozen?

GONCALO: Oh I am going to the bank and raiding the account Joana Morais set up for me.

SOFIA: But I thought that account was in the name of Paulo Sargento, that friend of the FFF? and that the money was supposed to be for your defense?

GONCALO: Who the flip is this FFF?

SOFIA: You know, your friend too, the Fat French Fantasist, Duarte Levy, that one who was (cough, cough) a friend of Joana Morais.

GONCALO: Oh yes of course, he gave me all my ideas for the Madeleine investigation and for making millions €'s off of Madeleine, but that dirty rat has not come up with the 24 photos he promised me yet!

SOFIA: He also hasn't repaid Joana for her mobile phone either and she isn't too pleased apparently.

GONCALO: Well don't worry about that now, Joana Morais has kindly sent Paulo Sargento a bank card and he is giving it to me to make withdrawals, so don't worry my darling, we will have the best Christmas and New year ever.

SOFIA: Oh aren't people so wonderful to donate to your (Christmas and New Year festivities and fireworks) Defense?

GONCALO: Yes especially all those old age pensioners who have been coerced into donating their pensions - so very kind.

SOFIA: But if you spend that money on fireworks, wine, fine food and cigars etc, how will you pay for your defense?

GONCALO: Defense? Why do you keep on about this defense? I have no defense.

SOFIA: Yes dear, I know you have no defense, you know you have no defense, but the donating sheeples, they do not seem to know you have no defense.

GONCALO: I know, it is very good, this means that they will keep on donating, the money will keep on rolling in and we can keep (living the high life) it for my defense.

SOFIA: But if Joana raises the money for your defense you will have to go to court and you will need money to pay for a lawyer and if you keep spending the defense money, you will not be able to go to court to prove you are innocent!

GONCALO: Yes exactly, stupid woman, so what is the problem? But you are so thick!

SOFIA: [Penny drops and sighs] drat I thought I would get rid of you for a few years

GONCALO: What? Speak up woman I can't hear you.

SOFIA: [Deaf B******d you weren't meant to] Oh nothing dear, I couldn't bear losing you.

SOFIA: Yes Goncalo you are such a (dud) stud, how come you know Joana Morais so well?

GONCALO: I haven't got a bald spot and I thought you were buying me the other earring?

SOFIA: Maybe since they repossessed all the furniture, it does echo a bit.

GONCALO: Walking around waving his arms about, mutters and cusses a few times. That furniture was old anyway, when is all the new stuff coming?

SOFIA: When we have paid for it.

GONCALO: [Blasted people taking all my lovely money away] Never mind, I'll get the money for the furniture later, when I am at the bank of Joana Morais.

SOFIA: How are you getting to the bank baldy? They have confiscated your top of the range Jaguar worth €80.000.

GONCALO: Don't worry, Paulo Cristavoa is giving me a lift, he is coming along with Baptista and Fernando, they are bringing their "shots". And stop calling me baldy, it is bad for my stud image.

SOFIA: That was such a nice car dear! How did you get it?

GONCALO: It was nothing really, I just lied a lot.

SOFIA: Oh no change there then, they say you must stick to what you know best.

SOFIA: Goncalo, I was thinking, if you go to court, will you have Dr Antonio Cabrita represent you?

GONCALO: Well stop thinking, what have I told you about thinking? Women are not meant to think, they are just there for cooking, washing, and cleaning etc and er (cough) the other.

SOFIA: The other? What is this other? Never mind that, what about Dr Cabrita?

GONCALO: He is useless, I would like to make his sheet without dirtying my hands (Goncalo Shouts) WHY DO YOU KEEP ON ABOUT THIS CABRITA ANYWAY?

SOFIA: Oh no reason, I think he likes my ears.

SOFIA: Yes I know he is, [he certainly done you up] but he will never represent you, he hates you, he thinks you are a cloven beast [you are]

GONCALO: Oh it doesn't matter what he thinks, I can bully, intimidate, torture and threaten him into submission into representing me.

SOFIA: He doesn't scare easily Goncalo, [he is not a defenseless woman or the distraught parents of an abducted child] I think he will laugh and spit in your face and stamp on your cloven hoof.

GONCALO: No matter, I will send around Baptista, Fernando and Cristovao, to threaten him with their shots and sheets and horns.

SOFIA: What like Dr Joao Grade?

GONCALO: Exactly! Who told you about him?

SOFIA: Oh no one I just guessed [thug], but I don't think it will work, Dr Correia has principles!

GONCALO: Sigh, you are right, maybe I will have to stick with the useless Dr Antonio Cabrita, but no funny business with him and your ears!

SOFIA: Oh no Goncalo, but that reminds me, how is Felicia Cabrita?

GONCALO: Eh? Who told you about her?

SOFIA: No one, I saw the bank account and smelled her perfume, you know I have the best nose in Portimao, I am known for it.

GONCALO: Good idea, I can tell them anything and they will believe me, if they don't I can threaten them and their families.

SOFIA: What about the British public?

GONCALO: I don't know, I have tried to lie to them and threaten them, but they just tell me to go forth and multiply, I cannot understand it, they are not one bit scared of me.

SOFIA: I don't understand, I thought Joana Morais and Tony Bennett, had done a good job on them and they all believed your lies?

GONCALO: Oh that is just some of them, just the idiots like Brenda Ryan, Tony Bennett and Thug and the pathetico sheeples like the racist Greens and that thick Ambernoodle head etc.

SOFIA: Are you telling me that nearly all of the British public do not believe your lies and are not scared of your threats?

GONCALO: Yes.

SOFIA: Well then, I am not going and you can tell Tony Bennett to take the sex and go option, because there is no way I am going to his draughty church hall for his annual Konference, just to get humiliated and embarrassed.

Tony Bennett and Debbie Butler - Were At it (Apparently)

Well is it a surprise, given Ms Butler's cyber history of falling for men over the internet? Apparently Tony Bennett and Debbie Butler were having an affair, goodness knows what Bennett's wife makes of all this, Butler's ex husband certainly had enough of her and done the off apparently.

You know looking at them both, brings a wry smile to the face and one cut's off the mind to delving any deeper (persih the thought), but is this funny? Normally I would not bother with people and their "assignations", it is entirely up to them if they want to wreck their lives and the lives of their families, however, this is much more than a sordid little bunk up in the back seat of a car and a few stolen kissses behind the bushes in Rothley.

These are the two main players in a hate campaign,. A campaign designed to cause maximum suffering and distress to the parents of a missing child and worse still to harm an innocent child, by repeatedly frustrating the search for her.

These pair have put on one of the most unedifying dispalys of poor taste that I have ever witnessed. They have both lied through their back teeth, cheated and betrayed each other and more than this they have *BOTH* brought into this mix, a little boy, who had no right being involved in their squalid little "affair", he should have been protected at all costs. But are we surprised at their insensitivity and their thoughtlessness when it comes to others, especially children?

They maintained their hate campaign was to bring awareness about a little girl that neither of them knew and about her parents, her family and their friends, which again, neither of them knew.
Where is Madeleine McCann in all of their sordid little goings on? Where has she been as these two batted bricks at each other these past weeks?

A little girl lost again, and badly let down by adults, again, a plague on both their houses!

I always maintained that Bennett and Butler's grubby and scurrilous Madeleine Foundation, was not about Madeleine, it was all about making money for Bennett and once more enabling him to jump on a high profile bandwagon, to get his ugly face in the attention of the media, you would think with £90.000 stashed away in various accounts, that he would at least treat himself to a pair of decent glasses, some specs that do not make him look like he is staring at you from behind milk bottle bottoms.

Bennett slighted Butler, just like Thierry slighted Ireland, the difference being, France got a goal where Bennett and Butler have scored classic own goals, did they learn from the first mistake? No, they carry on repeatedly banging home their ball into the back of their own net!

The lies that have been told by each of the are too numerous to mention, but yesterday, we were treated to another "whrant" (whine & rant), this time from Bennett, where he has stated that millions of people haave been flooding to his website because they do not believe the McCanns version of events. (Yet again he is inciting defamation, by making unfounded allegations). My question is this:

"If it is all exactly as Bennett says, and people in their thousands, have been donating to the Madeleine Foundation, through their DONATE facility and buying their *banned* booklet, perhaps Tony Bennett AND Debbie Butler, can explain; whose name the Paypal account is in that such donations were made through? How much is laying in that Paypal account? How much has passed through that paypal account and into whose bank account did withdrawals from paypal get paid into?

Also there is a discrepancy in what Bennett has maintained, if all these people have been donating in their thousands after the disgraceful Rothley incident, as this is only recently, where is all the money? Thosands is plural, so at least 2000 booklets sold at £4, is approximately £8000, put this together with any funds already in the account, where has all the money gone?

Or have we once again caught Bennett out in another contemptuous lie? In fact after his despicable Rothley soiree, no such people in their droves wanted to find out more about the McCanns and no such people in their thousands bought the book?

Either way, Bennett is again caught out in yet another lie.

This brings me to Bennett and the Rothely leaflet drop.

Bennett said he did not lie about being in Rothely. Yes he did lie, he told huge enormous lies and what is more he set up Debbie Butler as the fall woman to take all the flak, for the Rothley fall out, when they realised that they had made a huge and fatal error in trying to terrorise the innocent parents of Madeleine McCann in their own home! They realised that the public turned on them ferociously, when they overstepped the mark and sneaked into Rothley under cover of darkness, to stuff their vile leaflets into the doors of the McCanns neighbours homes, in a vain bid, to attempt to turn the McCanns neighbours against them and so, not only make the lives of Mr Mrs McCann hell there, but also make the lives of Madeleine's little twin brother and sister hell also.

Bennett bare faced said he was not in attendance at Rothely and that there was only three people leafleting and as we already knew two of them were on a motorbike, we knew exactly who the three were, Debbie Butler; Grenville Green and Helene-Davies Green (known to have dealings with UKIP, Veritas and National Front).
Bennett said he was not there, now he says he did not lie about being there, so he was there.

Again Bennett is caught out in another contemptuous lie.

Why did he lie about being in Rothley? Why did he repeatedly infer that a photographer has said of Ms Butler, that his editor had wanted a picture of her looking like a "hard faced cow?" This was simply completely untrue, yet at every given opportunity, Bennett not only dropped those that leafleted Rothley in it by referring to the "THREE", he also persistently referred to the untrue quote of a national newspaper, by calling Debbie Butler a "hard faced cow", why did he do this to Ms Butler?

Why did Tony Bennett, Debbie Butler, Grenville Green and his wife Helene Davies-Green, show a total lack of concern for the welfare of the McCann twins?

People warned Debbie Butler repeatedly about her own small son, they told her how prone and opne to bullying and gossip he would be because of her activities, they told her she would come under the auspices of social services herself for the continued way she was leaving her son to go travelling about the country, pursuing her hate campaign, did she listen? No, she just carried on and she carried on because she was "carrying on" with Bennett at the time, so all thought and reason for thsoe people getting hurt went completely out of the window.

If Debbie Butler cannot care for her own son and put the needs of him before anything and anyone else, as it should be, how can she have the bare faced cheek to tell the McCanns, that they were wrong? How could she write to social services demanding those twins be taken into care, considering Butler's own background?
How could Butler write to the General Medical Council complaining about the ethics of Kate and Gerry McCann, asking for them to be struck from the medical register because they may be "depressed" about their eldest daughter, when Butler's very own code of ethics are non existent?

How can Bennett say he wants to improve the lives of children, when he has blatantly lied and misrepresented about Madeleine's disappearance?

How Can Bennett say he wants to help children, when he blatently lied and included a parents aid charity, to help him sell his own book for his own personal gains? Forcing the charity to declare on their website that they have niothing at all to do with this man Tony Bennett?

How can Bennett say that he wants to help children, when he just mercilessly used the child of his alleged ex lover, in order to improved his own sullied standing in the media and the online community?

The McCanns have been forced to waste their valuable time stopping the likes of Bennett and Butler, while they were wasting time on that, they were lsong time looking for their precious daughter, but this much at least should cheer the "Bastardly Duo" (sic), for the one thing they want over and above anything else, is the search for Madeleine called off and that dear little child not to be found, this is in order that they can keep on doing the things they are doing and using Madeleine to make money out of and to propel themselves into the lime light.

Disgraced Former Detective's New Jaguar Seized

Goncalo Amaral the former police inspector who first led the hunt for missing child Madeleine McCann, has had his brand new £70.000 Jaguar motor car seized. This action follows in a line of similar actions against the former detective, who has also been convicted of lying and perjury and concealing evidence of the torture of Leonor Cipriano. Amaral is currently serving an 18 month suspended prison sentence. Yesterday it was also revealed that the appeals that have been lodged to increase his sentence and commute it to an actual term to be served in prison is being held up because the 8 jurors from his trial, are currently owed fees. In Portugal no further trials can go ahead until the jurors are paid. Goncalo Amaral and Paulo Cristovao and three other ex PJ inspectors, elected trial by jury, it is not clear if it is they that have to pay the jurors and this is why proceedings are being held up.

It is clear that Goncalo Amaral is heavily in debt and has been for some years, questions need to be asked and answered.

By his wife Sofia's own admissions Amaral was not on a very high salary, so how were they allowed to commit themselves to such high risk enormous financial ventures?

Exactly how much capital have they had at their disposal and where has it all come from?

Amaral saw his good friend Paulo Cristovao (who also stood trial and is also currently standing trial at present in Portugal) make money out of missing Joana Cipriano, by writing a book about the child and the investigation. (Currently Leonor Cipriano's conviction for the murder of her daughter, is the subject of an appeal which cannot be heard until the jurors are paid for attending the trial that proved she was tortured.) Leonor Cipriano's conviction is looking to be one of Portugal's biggest miscarriages of justice!

Against all logical reasoning Goncalo Amaral made Kate and Gerry McCann arguidos. He made them suspects on the back of so-called sniffer dog "evidence", that never existed and could not ever be corroborated, during a farcical operation and not even making the apartment where Madeleine was abducted from a crime scene until some THREE MONTHS AFTER she was taken.

Goncalo Amaral should be arrested and questioned over his total failure in conducting the abysmal investigation into Madeleine's disappearance. Amaral made every single mistake there was to make, mistakes, you would not even expect a rookie detective to make, question is why and is it feasible that a detective said to have all of the experience of Amaral would make all these mistakes? If I were a cynic, I would think these mistakes that destroyed the Madeleine McCann investigation were made on purpose, to purposefully thwart that investigation so Madeleine could not be found.

Is it plausible to even start to think that Madeleine McCann was stolen to order, for an illegal adoption by people living in and around Praia da Luz? And that some in authority knew she was going to be abducted and that those people have done nothing but obstruct the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine, right from the word go?

Perhaps Madeleine was abducted in order for some to operate a money making scam, only it certainly wasn't her poor long suffering parents.

There is something very deep and sinister at work here and it is becoming clearer with each passing day, that the McCanns have suffered horrifically and their daughter abducted probably to order.

I think it is time for the Madeleine investigation to be reopened, but NOT conducted by the Portuguese, I think it is time for Interpol to become involved, this is as serious as it gets, and it is now patently obvious that Portugal is incapable of holding an investigation free from corruption!

The Amarals, So Much In Love?

If you believe recent reports, you would be forgiven for thinking that the disgraced former policia judiciaria detective, Goncalo Amaral, is enjoying a second honeymoon with his 2nd wife, Sofia Leal-Amaral. They stage photo-shoots holding each others hands and posed arms entwined trying to give the impression of being so much in love.

The Amarals, holding hands emulating Kate and Gerry McCann, but one suspects if the Amarals were to suffer only one fraction of trials that have beset Kate and Gerry, their relationship would fall apart at the seams. The Amarals seem to me to have a sham of a marriage, one held together by a bank account and not the love mutual respect that has kept the McCanns relationship strong, during their most horrific of times and darkest of days since their beloved and much adored eldest daughter Madeleine, was abducted from her bed whilst on a family holiday in Praia da Luz in May 3rd 2007.

In May 2009, Goncalo Amaral was convicted of withholding evidence of the torture of Leonor Cipriano, the mother of another missing child, Joana Cipriano. Amaral was tried and convicted of lying and perjury and received an 18 month suspended prison sentence, a sentence that caused eyebrows to raise across the world because of its leniency, a sentence that Leonor Cipriano's lawyer, Dr Marcos Arageo Correia, has appealed to have increased and converted to an actual prison sentence.

Goncalo Amaral is also facing another trial for the torture of the partner of Leonor Cipriano, Leandro Silva, in fact, Goncalo Amaral has several trials looming on his horizon, not least a civil trial for his defamation of character of Kate and Gerry McCann, where he is going to be sued for £1.2 million. Amaral has amassed a fortune using the name of abducted child, Madeleine McCann, his get rich quick schemes include writing two books one which has had an injunction slapped upon it by a Portuguese judge, this does not bode well for his defamation trial, which he is tipped to lose, other schemes include him writing for a column for the Portuguese newspapers Correo da Manha and 24 Horas, these two newspapers always give Amaral favourable coverage, the truth being a number one casualty. For some in Portugal, Goncalo Amaral is viewed like some kind of avenging angel, fighting a lone battle for the truth and justice for Madeleine, however, when Amaral was actually in charge of the investigation, he made every mistake there was to make and instead of looking for and searching for the truth for Madeleine, Amaral looked for 3 hour 10 minute booze fuelled lunch breaks instead. On the day the Madeleine investigation entered its 150th day, the man in charge, cut a slovenly figure as he was pictured and timed leaving his office and strolling up to the Carvi fish restaurant, this meant on that particular Friday, with Madeline still missing and over 250 leads waiting to be investigated properly, instead he dined at the Carvi with an ex Formula 1 Portuguese racing driver and was overheard being totally unprofessional boasting about the case and talking loudly, proclaiming that the police case was that Madeleine was dead and her parents killed her. On that day 30th September 2007 @ 1.17pm: Goncalo Amaral casually strolled out of the police building and takes a leisurely walk to the Carvi restaurant with his boss Guilhermino Encarnacao - dubbed Inspector Clueless - who is making a rare visit to the investigation. Meanwhile on another Friday in September 2007 Amaral was seen at 10am, as he sat slurping coffee and cakes at the Kalahary cafe in Portimao again with his boss, Chief Inspector Guillermino Encarnacao. With an ever increasing amount of leads coming into the investigation, the men leading it had time to waste on 3 hour lunch breaks, later when the official files on the case were released, it was discovered that hundreds of what could have been vital leads were lost or not followed up, that e-fits of suspects were taken from eye witnesses and yet never shown to the public, it was revealed how farcical the whole investigation had been run. Especially when you learn that Amaral did not make the apartment Madeleine was abducted from a crime scene until some THREE MONTHS LATER, if this wasn't bad enough, Amaral had also allowed the apartment to be let out to other holiday makers in the meantime thus compromising and destroying any forensic DNA evidence that the abductors may have left behind!

Goncalo Amaral Before he Made Himself a Millionaire Off of Madeleine McCann

Apparently Amaral can now be seen regularly frequenting the bars near where he lives, in fact in one of those bars, it has been reported that his wife, Sofia Leal, on learning of her husband's affair with a beautiful young 35 year old woman (name withheld), after smelling perfume on him becoming suspicious because he was staying out until the early hours and sometimes all night, took his expensive new designer suits, shirts and shoes and through them through the door of a restaurant accompanied with a note telling everyone just what a pig her husband was and what he had been up to. Not content with embarrassing the disgraced former detective in public, Sofia decided to go one step further and began an extra marital affair with the woman's husband who had, had an affair with her own husband, apparently taking him back to her marital home!

Later the two couples paths apparently crossed at a bar and a scuffle between the two men was reported and threats made and they were asked to leave the restaurant.

This took place just last summer in June 2009, at the time the Amarals were swanning around the place posing for photographs and holding hands and trying to appear so much in love!

The woman who had an affair with Amaral, broke it off and became reunited with her husband, but allegedly, their nightmare has not ended there. Goncalo Amaral was enraged and could not accept the end of the affair and much friction has resulted between the two couples as a result.
The couple have become paralysed with fear after receiving threats and phone calls, all they want is for this apparent intimidation to stop and to be allowed to get on with their lives and raise their baby daughter.

The woman and her husband (names withheld) has reported Goncalo Amaral to the Attorney General of the Republic Dr. Pinto Monteiro, on two separate occasions and have begged for his help and protection as they feel their lives are in danger. They also speak of threats from a "person" that drugs will be planted on them as evidence and they will both be convicted and face going to prison for a very long time, the husband has been threatened with by someone that has allegedly said that he can "give him a kicking" and have him shot "without getting his hands dirty".

The beleaguered couple have taken the step of writing to the Portuguese attorney general directly because they feel that if anything happens to them, at least investigators will know where to start looking for clues.

The woman who had an affair with Goncalo Amaral is very contrite and has admitted to the attorney general, that she had made a terrible mistake and was very wrong to have an affair, but said that she was seduced by the charm of Amaral's smooth talking, the same tone he uses when he appears on TV talking about the Madeleine investigation. She has said, that she has since seen and come to know a completely different side to disgraced former PJ detective, who is currently serving an 18 month suspended prison sentence for lying and perjury etc.

The couple have also had a complaint to the Public Prosecutor Faro filed on their behalf for the crimes that have allegedly been committed by Mr. Gonçalo de Sousa Amaral against them.

The woman's husband claims that he has been pushed in the street and taunted over the telephone that his little daughter is not really his daughter.
Sadly the woman reports that her daughter cries now for everything and anything as is picking up on her parents feelings of insecurity and they say they live in fear in their own home and everywhere. The couple also claim to have a video recorded on a phone where you can see the altercation between Mr. Gonçalo Amaral and her husband in a bar in Lagos.

Reports appeared in a newspaper who Amaral writes a column for, the Correo De Manha about an alleged incident at a huge 50th birthday bash for Goncalo Amaral. It was alleged that the couple and their friend arrived and started causing trouble, etc, however the couple tell a different story.

"Last night I, my husband **** ****** and our Advocate ** ***** ***** ******* went out for dinner in a restaurant in Portimao. When we asked ******* to lead us to my mother's house, to go get our daughter was in her care, as we passed by the riverside area of Portimão, we saw fireworks with the Club Naval de Portimão, and decided to stop to see, with my husband and I left the car for a cigarette fumarmos since ********* is not smoking and remained in his car, and we beside the vehicle, leaning next to a public parking area.

Herein we saw a crowd at the entrance of the restaurant "retreat of broiled fish, and what was our astonishment to see Mr. Gonçalo Amaral de Sousa to look us in the midst of them, with the same Mr Gonçalo made a sign with out to others, pointing in our direction, and these people, about four, they headed immediately for us to threaten us with great aggressiveness to immediately abandon that area of the street. We emphasize that we were on the street in full public place, on the opposite side of that restaurant. In this, individuals begin to push us hard, abusing us and beating us, and as a ******* takes a hand to the back of his pants, saying while it does not go out there gave us a shot. In this one ******** tries to start on our ****** in the car, pulling him out of the window to attack him. When we see our powerlessness and violence, we went immediately in the car of our ********, and one that ***** still managed to give a strong punch on my husband.

We went immediately to the police station in Portimão's Public Security Police where he asked to be identified the perpetrators of harm, as Mr. Gonçalo Amaral, the instigator of the crimes, we were already well known! Three agents of PSP followed my husband and our advocate to the site, and I, for fear, remained in the Police station. At the site, individuals and ******** ********, and yet another person that is not known to us, had already fled, only to be possible to identify *****. However, even ahead of the PSP, other individuals, perhaps in excess of ten, accompanied Mr. Gonçalo Amaral towards our ******** ** ****** , with Mr Gonçalo Amaral aggressively threatening him just front of his face, pointing his finger, and shouting to him "you have no shame."

We have presented immediately after each of the three of us, and yet last night, holding criminal proceedings against Mr. Gonçalo Amaral de Sousa and his henchmen, having been our complaints registered on the PSP with the numbers:

However, during the day, Mr. Gonçalo Amaral called several times for my phone and to my husband, from an unidentified number on the display of our devices, but which can be identified by the judiciary, threaten us without shame that we would make the sheet."

Sofia Leal Amaral, has described her husband in a Sunday paper in the UK as a calm loving father who worried about his daughters having accidents in the playground at school, yet bizarrely, this worry about accidents did not stop Goncalo Amaral from sharing a bottle of wine with a friend at the Carvi restaraunt and driving his police car with his daughter inside, off somewhere.

It is hard to reconcile this Goncalo with the Goncalo that she (Sofia Amaral) reported to the Portimao police for failing to hand her daughter over at Christmas 2008, as prearranged and when she went to collect her daughter from her husband, he threatened her with death and again driving his police car after drinking alcohol, she has claimed.

Sofia Leal Amaral also stated to the paper that they live on a reduced income, approximately a third of what Amaral used to receive as a serving police detective.

What she doesn't mention is the huge wealth the couple have amassed, through TV and radio interviews, books, films, TV documentaries and charging for interviews.
Sky news reported that they had been appraoched by Goncalo Amaral's agent, who told them that he was available for interview, but it would cost £80.000, Sky News apparently declined the offer.

Gone now are the scruffy sloppy clothes, which Mrs Amaral once described as "Hugo Boss suits" they are now replaced with expensive designer gear, which can be argued were purchased for him by abducted Madeleine McCann.
The Amarals also drive around in a brand new Jaguar which a top of the range model could cost them anything up to £70.000. Also another show of their wealth is the big birthday party they held to celebrate Goncalo Amaral's 50th birthday, where many euros were spent on foreworks, which literally went up in smoke, which could be argued would have kept a normal Portuguese family for quite a few months!

It has also been alleged that the the house the Amarals live in and all of his personal wealth has been put in the name of his wife, if true, this may of course affect any settlement Kate and Gerry McCann may be awarded in their libel trial against Goncalo Amaral.

How Alarmed Should We be At Brenda Ryan's Opening Post On Her New Forum?

Brenda Ryan opens a new forum, so what? You may ask and normally, this would be my response, but having read her opening post, I must admit to it setting off a cacophony of alarm bells in my head - judge for yourselves.

One thing that keeps amazing me with Kate and Gerry is their continuation with the abduction scenario. Well let’s look at the abduction scenario deeply, like many of us have done over the last two and a half years. Your inconsistencies, your discrepancies Kate and Gerry, your abduction theory is therefore probably implaussible. Even Donal MacIntyre says that it had to be done in under 180 -240 seconds. Yes seems a big number doesn’t it, but that is only 4 minutes max.

I tell you what let us all try, lay something on our settees 90cm in length and the weight of a child at that age, then proceed outside. Once we have done that we then have to search another room to make sure the children were not sleeping in there, go to the window, open it up, then go back and pick up the child, climb through the window (remembering not to leave any DNA Trace) and then get to the top of the road for someone to spot us.

To snatch a child off the street yes it is plausible, drive up, get out snatch the child and then drive off. But to do this in an apartment and in the way that they declare is just not plausible, in my honest opinion.

But whether there were jemmied shutters or not, whether they had an accomplice is not relevant, what is relevant is your actions with regards to an abduction possibly by a unknown paedophile.

Do you honestly think he is treating your daughter like a princess? Do you think he is being nice to her? Because what he is doing to her is too intolerable to think about. That poor child is being violated in such ways that even animals do not treat each other like it. Your daughter is being used as an object for someone’s sexual gratification. She is probably traumatised and probably in pain, so how do you think she feels, if the so called abductor is showing pictures of you globetrotting, smiling and laughing? Do you not think he is probably telling her that he loves her now and that you look so happy without her?

So Kate and Gerry, you say she has been abducted, then we will go with that the day you and your friends return to Portugal for a reconstruction, you Kate answer the questions and you both demand to know why the case is shelved in Portugal and demand that it be re-opened. But up until that time we will continue to doubt you, because many of us are parents just like you, and we know damn well that we would never act like you are acting.

All the money in the world will not bring your daughter back. It has been proven with the £2.6 million reward. Nobody came up to claim it, nobody gave you any information in order to claim the reward. And why do you think that is? Because there's probably no information about an abduction to be given. Of course continue in your fruitless search. The search you are doing away from Praia Da Luz, you remember that place don’t you? Well just incase you have forgotten, it is the area where your Detectives say that she could be being held. One more thing, during your recent trip to Portugal Kate who stopped you banging on all the doors in and around Praia Da Luz in hope of finding your daughter? Because I know I would have been banging on doors if detectives had told me she could be within 10 miles of Praia Da Luz.

So instead of threatening to sue us, threatening this that and the other, why not show us that you really are innocent and just do a few simple things. After all, if you are innocent, would it not be best to clear your names once and for all and then your doubters might even start thinking that she could have been abducted. Then the search can commence. But until you go back to Praia Da Luz, knock on the door of Portimao Police Station and answer the questions, do the reconstruction, get rid of your libel lawyers and henchmen, there will be people like myself that do not believe a word that comes out of your mouths.

You both failed miserably that night as parents, by leaving her alone with her younger brother and sister, now is the time to make amends and put things right. Don’t do it for your sakes, do it for Madeleine, because she is the victim in all of this, not you. And remember there could have been two more victims in this, if you are to be believed and that is the twins. What stopped an abductor taking them?"

This post is alarming, it is spiteful, nasty, vile and unpleasant and well, it is also just plain thick and unnecessarily erudite. Much like the poster herself. Ryan's comments are also very revealing!

To be honest I have never paid much attention to the gossip sweeping the net about Brenda Ryan's former occupation, I am not that bothered by people who make a living out of the oldest profession in the world, but then I discover that Ryan's partner has been in trouble for paying underage girls for sex and that taken in context with Ryan's post is alarming to say the very least, and perhaps it is the police that need to look closely at her comments?

Brenda Ryan begins her comments with an opening salvo of being amazed that the McCanns have kept up the "scenario" as Ryan puts it, of course it doesn't seem to have resonated with Ryan that they have kept this up because Madeleine was abducted, and they are never going to rest and never going to give up looking for their daughter until they find her. In fact, the McCanns are actually displaying typical and classical behaviour, Madeleine is their daughter and she was abducted, what would you expect them to do, come home from holiday and just say "oh well, never mind" and just get on with their lives minus their eldest child? No of course not, God forbid this ever happened to any of us, but we would do exactly the same as them and they are doing what they promised to do "leave no stone unturned".

Not good enough for the alleged ex prostitute Brenda Ryan, she now wants us all to look at the abduction scenario "deeply", so deeply, if you cut her own opinions which she shoves down the readers throats, her examination of the "abduction scenario deeply" last for approximately nine lines! Hmm yes. The rest if her comments are her ordering the McCanns about.

She also quotes Donal McIntyre's version of the timelines as if they are gospel, really it would be funny if the overall impression of Ryan's comments were not sick, dark and vile.

Ryan arrogantly orders the McCanns to "get yourselfs back to PDL", who the hell does this woman think she is? Obviously she thinks she knows more the Portuguese judiciary and attorney general. She warbles on about them answering the questions, the fact that they had their Portuguese lawyers present advising them not to answer the questions goes completely over her thick head.
The fact that the questions were never devised to discover where Madeleine may be and who took her, they were specifically devised to try and entrap Kate McCann, also goes completely over her head. However, I don't want to talk about this, it has all been said so many times before and Ryan knows it.

Ryan talks at the reader, shoves her own opinions down the readers throats and displays an alarming level of cruelty mixed with plain ignorance and arrogance, this much is plain, but there is also something far more sinister at work in her comments, something vile, sick and twisted and depraved.

I want to ask what kind of "woman" can write something as sick as the following taken from Ryan's post;

That poor child is being violated in such ways that even animals do not treat each other like it. Your daughter is being used as an object for someone’s sexual gratification. What kind of woman can even think about writing something so vicious, vile and sick as the above? She has addressed this to two people whose daughter has been abducted and she is taunting them with what could be happening to their child, only Ryan writes it like it is actually happening! Ryan goes on about the McCanns going to PDL and answering the questions and jumping through various hoops etc and then and only then can we begin looking for this child, so by Brenda Ryan's own sick and twisted admissions, Madeleine is suffering but she can just go on suffering until her parents have been vilified some more, this time in Portugal. Because what matters more to Brenda Ryan is hurting Kate and Gerry McCann as much as is possible.

And Ryan has tried hard to make everyone think that Madeleine was NOT abducted, so how does she explain seemingly to know what Madeleine 'IS' being used for? This points to abduction, so why is she contradicting herself?

Perhaps the police should call on and question Brenda Ryan and her partner.

I honestly could not believe what I was reading when I first read this and Brenda Ryan, need have no fear, her little offering has got the attention that Ryan craves, it is now lodged with those who know how to deal with it. * If you thought the plot surrounding the return to public life of Michael Barrymore couldn't possibly get any thicker, think again.
On Monday, Tony Bennett, a lawyer representing the parents of Stuart Lubbock, who died at Barrymore's Essex home in 2001, turned up at the Celebrity Big Brother studios, and attempted to serve legal papers on the troubled entertainer.
Now it emerges that Bennett, who has quickly become Barrymore's bête noire, is himself in possession of a - shall we say? - "colourful" past, on the fringes of right-wing politics.
A few years back, when he was known as plain Anthony Bennett, the retired solicitor made unflattering headlines when was sacked by the UK Independence Party after publishing a pamphlet that described the prophet Mohamed as a paedophile.
He swiftly decamped to Robert Kilroy-Silk's Veritas party, where he briefly became leader. However that also ended in tears, after The Guardian published a front-page exclusive detailing his close links with Ian Anderson, a former chairman of the National Front.
How such a chap ended up taking on Barrymore is anyone's guess. But yesterday, the man himself insisted that politics were irrelevant to the legal proceedings.
"It would be amazing if anyone brought that up," he said. "The Guardian piece was very unfair. The so-called link was tentative. My career shows that I am in no way a racist."

Below is my response to an article that Tony Bennett has placed on his website attacking a member of the J4 forum. I am not holding my breath that he will publish it, so I will do it myself.

It appears that Mr Bennett, is only big and brave when he attacks others, who he thinks are vulnerable and cannot fight back, such as Mr Mrs McCann, the parents of abducted Madeleine McCann.

Obviously, when Bennett gets it back he just cannot take it and veers around shooting at anything and everyone, who he thinks disagrees with him.

What Bennett fails to understand (perhaps one of his friends should actually tell him), is that everything that is being done to him, is being done legally and using the laws of the United Kingdom. (Unlike writing libellous books and dropping libellous leaflets into people's letter boxes in a furtherence of a "Hate Campaign")

claim to be a ‘fact’ about you and your works.You started this campaign up about

was actually in another paper.

You and Butler through this website that you have
set up in the name of a child you have never met, have orchestrated a ‘Hate
Campaign’, which you have pursued electronically and in real life.

There have been leaflet distributions in
Northampton, Oxford etc.

On Friday 14th August 2009. Debbie Butler;
Grenville Green and Helene Davies-Green, took your scurrilous campaign right
into the heart of the McCanns home village and directly into the street where
the McCanns have their home with their little 4 year old twins.

You pushed your vile leaflets through the letter boxes
of all the McCanns neighbours, in the attempt to make the McCanns lives as
unpleasant and as unbearable as possible.
And lets us remind you here Mr
Bennett, you did this to two totally innocent people, who have never been
charged with any wrongdoing in their lives (unlike you Bennett who have been
arrested and charged with theft).
Not only did Butler and the greens do this
to the McCanns, they did not care a damn that it would ultimately affect the
lives of the twins. No thought went to if we upset the parents then we upset the
twins.
In fact forget the people you have accused Mr Bennett, there is
evidence of what you have been doing to the McCanns all over the internet. I
would think that you should concentrate on the trouble that this will bring you
all, rather than start another campaign of hatred up against other people who do

journalists and a national Sunday newspaper.

This week you have named the parliamentary Under
Secretary for State Alan Campbell and Iswich MP Chris Mole on your Foundation
website as somehow being complicit in some hate campaign against this
foundation.

termed as the “longest suicide not in history” to the prime minister Gordon

re: Fitness to Practise: Dr Gerald McCann and Dr Kate McCann (formerly Dr Kate Healy)

I write to bring to your attention a report about the above couple, both doctors, published in the Sunday People yesterday.Dr Gerald McCann and Dr Kate McCann are the parents of Madeleine McCann, who was reported missing by her mother at around 10.00pm on Thursday 3 May 2007. The circumstances of her disappearance remain mysterious and as yet unsolved. They were made official suspects of involvement in their daughter’s disappearance in September 2007, a status that lasted until July 2008 when the Portuguese judicial authorities concluded that at that time there was insufficient evidence to charge them or anyone else with a crime against Madeleine.Yesterday, the Sunday People published an article based on what they said was a 34-page libel writ served in Portugal against Goncalo Amaral. The McCanns and their advisers have already announced in the press that they intended to sue Mr Amaral for libel. Mr Amaral was the senior investigating officer in the case until he was removed from the investigation in controversial circumstances in October 2007. A month earlier, he was the man responsible for declaring the McCanns to be official suspects in their daughter’s disappearance.The Sunday People says it has translated the libel writ from the Portuguese. The McCanns are claiming damages of £1 million from Mr Amaral. I wish to bring to your attention the medical and psychological condition of these two doctors, one of whom continues to practise, and both of whom we understand to be on the GMC Register.The writ says of Dr Kate McCann that she is ‘deeply and seriously depressed”. The writ goes on to describe both of the McCanns as suffering from:
permanent anxiety
insomnia
lack of appetite
irritability indefinable fear In the writ, according to the Sunday People, the McCanns further describe both of themselves as:
“totally destroyed”
“irreparably damaged”, and “totally destroyed from a moral, social, ethical, emotional and family point of view”The question that arises is whether either of these doctors is fit to practise or indeed to remain on the GMC Register, at least until these serious psychological problems, suggestive of mental illness, subside. We suggest that the appropriate committee of the GMC should consider (a) suspending them from the GMC until a psychiatrist deems that they have recovered from the above symptoms and (b) providing them with the expert psychiatric help and counselling that anyone exhibiting such severe symptoms should receive from the N.H.S. Presumably if the McCanns are exhibiting these symptoms there are reports available from their G.P. or a psychiatric specialist confirming those symptoms.The other possibility of course, is that the McCanns are grossly exaggerating the extent of their depression or even lying about it, in order to make as much money as possible from Mr Amaral. If that were the case, there would definitely be a whole series of other questions about their fitness to remain in practice and remain on the GMC Register. Many videos and still images exist of the McCanns laughing and joking and appearing to be anything but severely depressed. That would suggest at least the possibility that they have deliberately exaggerated their sadness at and reaction to the loss of Madeleine in order to make as much money as possible from their proposed libel action.Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to enclose a complimentary copy of a book written by Tony Bennett, titled: “What Really Happened to Madeleine McCann? - 60 reasons which suggest she was not abducted”. The book suggests that the McCanns’ claim that Madeleine was abducted runs counter to a mass of evidence. Its conclusion is precisely the same as that of Mr Amaral, whose book: ‘A XXXXXX XX XXXXXX’, (“The Truth About A Lie”), explains that the evidence suggests that Madeleine McCann died in her parents’ apartment and that her body was subsequently hidden or otherwise disposed of. I should add at this point that a great many British people would categorically refuse to be treated by either of the McCanns because of what they have seen of them on TV, or read about them in newspaper articles, or in Mr Bennett’s booklet. For them, the issue is trust. They do not feel that they can trust the McCanns.It is vital for both the medical profession and for the patient that patients have complete trust that their doctors are trustworthy. A clear example among many of why the McCanns cannot be trusted is that initially they claimed that an abductor had jemmied open the shutters to their apartment to gain entrance. Only when this was exposed as patently untrue did they then change their story, now claiming that the abductor must have entered by an open patio door and escaped with Madeleine out of a small window. These are matters we know have been brought to your attention by many others apart from us. We trust that you will take appropriate action with regard to the McCanns and their fitness to practise, taking account the contents of this letter and all the other evidence about their fitness to practice which is available to you.Finally, I understand that there may be a form on which official complaints should be submitted. If such a form exists, please could you send me two copies of such a form, one for each doctor.

re: Fitness to Practise: Dr Gerald McCann and Dr Kate McCann (formerly Dr Kate Healy)I write to bring to your attention a report about the above couple, both doctors, published in the Sunday People yesterday.Dr Gerald McCann and Dr Kate McCann are the parents of Madeleine McCann, who was reported missing by her mother at around 10.00pm on Thursday 3 May 2007. The circumstances of her disappearance remain mysterious and as yet unsolved. They were made official suspects of involvement in their daughter’s disappearance in September 2007, a status that lasted until July 2008 when the Portuguese judicial authorities concluded that at that time there was insufficient evidence to charge them or anyone else with a crime against Madeleine.Yesterday, the Sunday People published an article based on what they said was a 34-page libel writ served in Portugal against Goncalo Amaral. The McCanns and their advisers have already announced in the press that they intended to sue Mr Amaral for libel. Mr Amaral was the senior investigating officer in the case until he was removed from the investigation in controversial circumstances in October 2007. A month earlier, he was the man responsible for declaring the McCanns to be official suspects in their daughter’s disappearance.The Sunday People says it has translated the libel writ from the Portuguese. The McCanns are claiming damages of £1 million from Mr Amaral. I wish to bring to your attention the medical and psychological condition of these two doctors, one of whom continues to practise, and both of whom we understand to be on the GMC Register.The writ says of Dr Kate McCann that she is ‘deeply and seriously depressed”. The writ goes on to describe both of the McCanns as suffering from:

permanent anxiety
insomnia
lack of appetite
irritability indefinable fear In the writ, according to the Sunday People, the McCanns further describe both of themselves as:
“totally destroyed”
“irreparably damaged”, and “totally destroyed from a moral, social, ethical, emotional and family point of view”

The question that arises is whether either of these doctors is fit to practise or indeed to remain on the GMC Register, at least until these serious psychological problems, suggestive of mental illness, subside. We suggest that the appropriate committee of the GMC should consider (a) suspending them from the GMC until a psychiatrist deems that they have recovered from the above symptoms and (b) providing them with the expert psychiatric help and counselling that anyone exhibiting such severe symptoms should receive from the N.H.S. Presumably if the McCanns are exhibiting these symptoms there are reports available from their G.P. or a psychiatric specialist confirming those symptoms.The other possibility of course, is that the McCanns are grossly exaggerating the extent of their depression or even lying about it, in order to make as much money as possible from Mr Amaral. If that were the case, there would definitely be a whole series of other questions about their fitness to remain in practice and remain on the GMC Register. Many videos and still images exist of the McCanns laughing and joking and appearing to be anything but severely depressed. That would suggest at least the possibility that they have deliberately exaggerated their sadness at and reaction to the loss of Madeleine in order to make as much money as possible from their proposed libel action.Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to enclose a complimentary copy of a book written by Tony Bennett, titled: “What Really Happened to Madeleine McCann? - 60 reasons which suggest she was not abducted”. The book suggests that the McCanns’ claim that Madeleine was abducted runs counter to a mass of evidence. Its conclusion is precisely the same as that of Mr Amaral, whose book: ‘A XXXXXX XX XXXXXX’, (“The Truth About A Lie”), explains that the evidence suggests that Madeleine McCann died in her parents’ apartment and that her body was subsequently hidden or otherwise disposed of. I should add at this point that a great many British people would categorically refuse to be treated by either of the McCanns because of what they have seen of them on TV, or read about them in newspaper articles, or in Mr Bennett’s booklet. For them, the issue is trust. They do not feel that they can trust the McCanns.It is vital for both the medical profession and for the patient that patients have complete trust that their doctors are trustworthy. A clear example among many of why the McCanns cannot be trusted is that initially they claimed that an abductor had jemmied open the shutters to their apartment to gain entrance. Only when this was exposed as patently untrue did they then change their story, now claiming that the abductor must have entered by an open patio door and escaped with Madeleine out of a small window. These are matters we know have been brought to your attention by many others apart from us. We trust that you will take appropriate action with regard to the McCanns and their fitness to practise, taking account the contents of this letter and all the other evidence about their fitness to practice which is available to you.

Finally, I understand that there may be a form on which official complaints should be submitted. If such a form exists, please could you send me two copies of such a form, one for each doctor.

A witness has come forward to give the investigators currently searching for Madeleine McCann new information about a suspicious incident that took place in Barcelona in the early hours of May 7th 2007 - just over 72 hours after Madeleine was abducted whilst on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal.

The 41-year-old British witness was attending a party with a group of other men in the area of the Port Olimpic Marina in Barcelona. It is a busy location that is popular with both tourists and local people. The group had been visiting a number of bars and restaurants in the marina area on the evening of the May 6th 2007 and into the early hours of May 7th 2007.

At around 2.00am on May 7th, the witness became aware of a well-dressed woman, who he describes as appearing agitated. She was seen in the area of the El Rey De La Gamba restaurant-bar for some ten minutes, walking up and down.

The witness got up and walked towards the woman and had a short conversation with her. This conversation was potentially significant to the investigation. However, for strict operational reasons, the investigators will not be divulging any details of what was said to the witness.

It is as a result of this conversation that the investigators now want to trace the woman, who they believe to be possibly Australian.

Following the conversation the woman sat down in another nearby bar. A further person from the same party group also saw her there. At this bar the woman had a heated discussion with someone in what seemed to be fluent Spanish.
The woman was last seen walking away in the direction of a local hospital and the more distant ferry and cruise ship terminals.
The woman is described by the principal witness as follows:
White
Aged 30 to 35 years
Slim build
Short brown hair
Approximately 5"2 tall
Wearing expensive looking blue jeans and a jersey top, possibly pastel colour
Her build equated to a size 10 dress size.
The witness described her as "a bit of a Victoria Beckham look-a-like". She spoke English with what the witness has described as "possibly an Australian" accent. The investigators now hope the international media, in particular Australian and Spanish broadcasters, will help to distribute the attached e-fit of the woman, which has been prepared by a police artist, as widely as possible.
The British witness does not wish to be identified publicly. The investigators have already conducted some preliminary inquiries in the vicinity of the Port Olimpic Marina and are continuing to liaise with relevant police forces where necessary.
